State Level Training for Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) teachers and officials on Deafblindness organised by Aaina and supported by Sense International India (SII) and Kamal India Foundation (KIF) on 12th December 2023 at Bhubaneswar, 40 participants from 3 districts- Khurdha, Nayagarh, and Puri participated in the training. Special thanks to OPEPA for helping in the process.

On 3rd December 2023, International Disability Day was celebrated at different operational areas of Aaina: Bhanjanagar, Kamakhyanagar, Khordha, Begunia, Bhubaneswar, we joined hands to celebrate the strength, resilience, and unique abilities of individuals with disabilities. 🎉💙 This year's theme, "Inclusion Matters: Access and Empowerment for People of All Abilities," reminded us of the importance of creating a world where everyone can fully participate and contribute.

We are delighted to share with you that your generous contribution towards *'Gift an Apple'* campaign organized by Aaina has helped us raise around *Rs. 30K* for the cause!

It would be wonderful if you could join us for *Apple Distribution* on *2nd December 2023* at *Godibari Anganwadi Centres & Bugin-Ha* at *9:30 AM & 2:30 PM* respectively.

Godibari is one of our project areas and we plan to serve the community there through our small effort of providing nutrition to underprivileged children through distribution of apples.
Children can reap the best benefits of nutrition if it is on continuous bases. From the funds collected, we will be able to continue with distribution of apples to the children attending Bugin-Ha (School for the underprivileged) & Godibari Anganwadi Centres, once a week for one month.

Aaina Premier league, Block level women's Kabadi tournament at Bhanjanagar.

This Children's Day, as a part of Aaina’s “Safe, Vibrant and Healthy Public Spaces” project which is supported by India, 10 Adolescents conducted an of OTDC facilities.� Our sincere gratitude to the Chairperson of OTDC, Dr Lenin Mohanty and the divisional managers who graciously hosted the team from Aaina, India and the young adolescents for the session. The adolescents shared their experience and feedback with Dr Mohanty and his team who promised to take action on them in a span of upcoming 15 days.

Heartfelt gratitude to Shri Kamal Kumar Panda, DSP, Kandhamal and OIC of Town Thana for supporting children with toys and gifts. These toys will help the children during counselling sessions at the Women Support Centre, Kandhamal supported by Aaina.
Kudos to Ms Kalpana Mohanty and team, Counsellors who realised the need for this and managed to persuade the OIC
