Raksha Bandhan, known as Rakhi, stands as a cherished Hindu festival with deep-rooted importance in India. This traditional celebration venerates the unique connection between brothers and sisters. The term "Raksha Bandhan" itself translates to "the bond of protection." During this occasion, a sister ties a sacred thread, the rakhi, around her brother's wrist, symbolizing the pledge of protection. Yet, Raksha Bandhan extends its reach beyond biological ties to encompass a larger community, aligning seamlessly with the Indian cultural ideal of "Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,".

Engineers without Borders - Student Chapter,CET updated their address.

What could be nobler than spending time with kids at a slum, right? The smile that greets you when you enter their home, makes for a better picture than any camera could capture.

Yesterday, on 22nd of March 2022, Ishika(a member of ewb club) celebrated her birthday with slum children. She distributed chocolates and hosted various games to increase their motor skill abilities. The children sang and danced along, creating a joyous vibe and they all spent quality time with one another.

Today is the birth anniversary of Swatantraveer Savarkar. Whole nation remembers him on this day for his heroic acts and selfless contribution to our nation. He is remembered as a lawyer, a poet, an author, a social reformist, a freedom fighter among other things. He was a versatile person with a command in every subject matter he dealt with.
on this occasion we remember one of the speeches of former Indian Prime Minister, late Atal Bihari Vajpayee delivered on the occasion of Veer Savarkar Jayanti in Pune in 2006. He described Savarkar as तेज (brilliant), त्याग (sacrifice), तप (penance), तत्व (elements), तर्क (arguments), तारुण्य (youth), तीर (arrow), तलवार (sword), तीलमिलाहट (extreme concern), तीतिक्षा (butterfly) and तिखापन (sharpness).
