Dear Friends,
You all will be happy to know that Tridhara is organising the International Summer Odissi Dance Workshop-2024 from 20th April to 20th May 2024 under my direct supervision. Each participant will be taught a special dance item in the workshop and will be provided with original dance music at the end. At the end of the workshop, the participants will get the opportunity to perform in Debasmruti-2024, organized by Tridhara on 22nd May 2024 at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar.

Benefit for the participants.
- Regular special class with lofty techniques under Guruji's direct guidance for one month (morning 6am to 10am and evening 4pm to 8pm)
- Special workshop classes on YOGA AND DANCE, LIGHTING DESIGN OF DANCE, MAKE-UP and TRADITIONAL COSTUME, PERCUSSION OF ODISSI DANCE by the experts on weekends
- Getting knowledge on choreography of Odissi dance repertoire and the dance literature.
- Opportunity to perform solo/duet and group in many festivals in India and abroad up to one year without participation fees.

- Every day we will teach the theoretical aspects of ODISSI AND ODISSI DANCE TRADITION

We invite all rasikas to the Valedictory ceremony of 17th Guru Debaprasad Award Festival 2023 to be held at Rabindra Mandap, Bhubaneswar, 6:30pm onwards. The evening will start with the conferring of “Guru Debaprasad Award” to Padmashri Pratibha Prahlad (Bharatnatyam), Padmashri Ileana Citaristi (Odissi Dance), Padmashri Nalini Asthana and Padmashri Kamalini Asthana (Kathak) and Guru Ramkrishna Talukdar (Sattriya Dance); “Guru Debaprasad Yuva Prativa Award” to Guru Sonali Mohapatra and Ms. Dipika Priyadarsini for Odissi Dance. The Award ceremony will be followed by Solo Bharatnatyam performance by Padmashri Pratibha Prahlad, followed by Duet Kathak Dance by Padmashri Nalini Asthana and Padmashri Kamalini Asthana. The evening will conclude with Flute Recital by Padma Vibhusan Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia and Brundaban Gurukul.

The 4th evening of 17th Guru Debaprasad Award Festival organised by Tridhara showcased Odissi & Sattriya dance with traditional songs of Odisha. We give our heartfelt thanks to the esteemed dignitaries Smt. Sulata Deo, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Rajya Sabha); Bidushi Pratibha Prahlad Eminent Bharatnatyam Dancer; Pandit Prosenjit Poddar, Secretary, Hindusthan Art & Music Society, whose presence graced the occasion. First presentation was Solo Odissi dance by eminent Odissi danseuse Dr. Ileana Citaristi, assisted by Guru Sachidananda Das on Mardala, Smt. Sangita Panda on Vocal, Shri Ramesh Chandra Das on Violin and Shri Parashuram Das on Flute. It was followed by Group Odissi dance production "Gananayaka Panchaka" by students of Kala Vikash Kendra, Cuttack. Next presentation was Duet Sattriya dance by Guru Ramkrishna Talukdar & Bidushi Rumi Talukdar. The duet presentation of the evening was very skillful and appreciated by the audience. Concluding presentation of the 4th evening was traditional songs of Odisha presented by eminent singers like Pandit Laxmikant Palit, Guru Keshav Chandra Rout, Dr. Sangeeta Gosain, Guru Sukanta Kundu, Guru Pravakar Srichandan, Smt. Sangeeta Panda, Smt. Anuja Tarini Mishra and Shri Satya Siddhant. Odisha's traditional and devotional classical music was performed by eminent singers which was enjoyed by the audience till the end.

We successfully concluded the third day of 17th Guru Debaprasad Award Festival. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude the esteemed guests of the evening, Shri Manmath Kumar Satapathy, Vice President Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi; Shri M. K. Patel, Secretary, Sur Singar Samsad & Founder Patel Foundation; Dr. Nita Vidyarthi, Renowned Art Critic and Writer to inaugurate the third installment of the festival. We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Prasanna Ku. Patsani, Hon’ble Member of State Planning Board (Cabinet Minister rank) to grace the evening with his presence and encouragement towards the artists. The evening started with the beautiful Solo Odissi dance by Ms. Bagmishree Das. Next presentation was Duet Mardala Recital by Guru Dhaneswara Swain and Guru Sachidananda Das which left the audience in a state of awe and reverence of the creative manifestations they brought about. The evening concluded with solo light classical vocal recital by Pandit Siba Prasad Rath. He sang some beautiful traditional, devotional and classical songs. The presentation by Pandit Siba Prasad Rath was marked by the flawless elaboration of Ragas, creativity and embellishment of the Ideation and beautiful melody, which left the audience spellbound.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude the esteemed guests of the evening, Shri Lenin Mohanty, Chairman, Odisha Tourism Development Corporation; Shri Ashok Tripathy, Former Member, Board of Revenue, Government of Odisha & Independent Director, Steel Authority of India Limited; Shri Dilip Routrai, Director, Odia Language Literature and Culture to inaugurate the second evening and felicitate the artists of the evening. The evening started with the beautiful Odissi Dance presentation by students of Guru Sonali Mohapatra. Next presentation was Mridangam recital by Internationally acclaimed Mridangam player Padma Shri Yella Venkateswar Rao. His Mridangam playing based on Carnatic Music involved audiences alike, to be in a state of awe and reverence of the creative manifestations he brought about. The evening concluded with the Jugalbandi of Sitar and Sarod by Kedia Brothers - Pandit Manoj Kedia on Sarod and Pandit Mormukut Kedia on Sitar, accompanied by Shri Rohen Bose on Tabla, which left the audience spellbound.

The inaugural ceremony of 17th Guru Debaprasad Award Festival 2023 was a great success. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the distinguished guests of the evening, Ms. Anu Garg, Development Commissioner-cum-Additional Chief Secretary, Odisha; Padma Bhusan Shri Jatin Das, Eminent Painter, Sculptor & Muralist; Padma Shri Yella Venkateswar Rao, Eminent Mridangam Player; Padma Shri Debi Prasanna Pattanayak, Indian Professor and Linguist. The prestigious "17th Guru Debaprasad Lifetime Achievement Award" was conferred to Padma Bhusan Shri Jatin Das for his lifetime contribution in the field of Art and Preservation of Crafts. Followed by Odissi Dance presentation “Ram Kathamrutam” by Tridhara, Bhubaneswar. The evening concluded with Trio Music Recital by three renowned classical musicians, Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya on Santoor, Pt. Ronu Majumdar on Flute and Pt. Prosenjit Poddar on Tabla. They were able to enthrall the audience as well as getting applause in the auditorium by playing the santoor, flute and tabla in various raga and taal.

It is a great honour for us to present this rare production yet again at the State Level Megha Utsav, organized by Odia Language Literature & Culture Department and Odisha Sangeet Natak Akademi, Bhubaneswar in collaboration with District Administration and District Cultural Council Dhenkanal on 19.08.2023 (tomorrow) at Gopabandhu Town Hall from 6.00 pm.

37th Sradhanjali Samaroha 2023- Day 2 - 16th July 2023 - Evening Session
It gives me immense pleasure to say that Tridhara has concluded the 37th Sradhanjali Samaroha with great success. For last 37 years Tridhara has been organising Sradhanjali Samaroha on the ocassion of Guru Debaprasad Das's Punyatithi. Specially this year more than 800 artists performed and paid homage to Guruji. No doubt the term "Odissi Mahakumbh" as given by media is fully justified. It is a great milestone for Tridhara.
On 16th July Day 2 at Utkala Rangamancha, Bhubaneswar, the Valedictory Session began with lamp lighting ceremony by esteemed guests of the evening Shri Prasanta Nanda, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha), Smt. Sulata Deo, Hon’ble MP (Rajya Sabha), Shri Subodh Chandra Acharya(CEO, GKCM Odissi Research Center) Pt. Prosenjit Poddar, Secretary, Hindusthan Art & Music Society. It was followed by Felicitation to all the Gurus of all institutions who performed in all the three sessions-Inaugural, Afternoon and Valedictory Session of the festival. The participated troupes and dancers were Senior Group of Tridhara, Bhubaneswar, Ms. Bagmishree Das (Grand daughter of Guru Debaprasad Das), Nrityabash Prerana (Vardhaman, WB), Devasruta Odissi Academy (Ranchi, Jharkhand), Om Art Dance Academy(Ahemadabad), Avantika Dance Academy (Bhubaneswar), Nrutya Drapana(Bhubaneswar) and Nrutyarchana Dance Academy (Bhubaneswar).

It gives me immense pleasure to say that Tridhara has concluded the 37th Sradhanjali Samaroha with great success. For last 37 years Tridhara has been organising Sradhanjali Samaroha on the ocassion of Guru Debaprasad Das's Punyatithi. Specially this year more than 800 artists performed and paid homage to Guruji. No doubt the term "Odissi Mahakumbh" as given by media is fully justified. It is a great milestone for Tridhara.
The concluding day of 37th Sradhanjali Samaroha - 2023 was organized in collaboration with Guru Kelucharan Mahapatra Odissi Research Center. At 9 am in the morning, the esteemed gurus, distinguished guests, disciples and well-wishers garlanded the statue of Guru Debaprasad Das in the premises of Utkal Sangita Mahavidyalaya.
The morning session of Day 2 at Utkala Rangamancha, Bhubaneswar began with the lighting of Lamp by the esteemed Guests- Shri Prafulla Samal(Honorable MLA, Bhandari Pokhari), Shri Prasanna Kumara Nanda (W. President, KVK), Shri Simanchal Panda(W. president, Tridhara), Guru Chapala Mishra, Smt. Anuja Tarini Mishra(Adminstrative Officer, GKCMORC) Guru Savita Mishra, Guru Prativa Panda, Guru Jhinook Mukherjee, Shri Surendra Das & Guru Amrita Das.

On 15th July 2023 Day 1 at Rabindra Mandap, the afternoon session was followed by the Evening session which began with offering Pushpanjali to Guruji by esteemed Guests. We give our heartfelt thanks to the esteemed guests -Shri Satyabrata Sahu, IAS( Additional Chief Secretary, Dept. of OLLC), Shri Ashok Kumar Tripathy, Rtd. IAS(Former Member, Board of Revenue), Pt. Prosenjit Poddar(Founder, Hindusthan Art & Music Society), Shri Madhusudan Das( Special Secretary, Dept. of OLLC). It was followed by felicitation to Gurus of all the dance institutions who participated in the festival. The evening cultural programme began with Odissi dance presentation by senior group of Tridhara, Bhubaneswar followed by Bharatnatyam dance by Ms. Jhinook Mukherjee Sinha, duet Odissi dance performed by Guru Kavita Mishra & Shri Raju Mishra, group performance by Bhubaneswar Kala Kendra, Nrutya Bilash and Nupur.

For last 37 years Tridhara has been organising Sradhanjali Samaroha on the ocassion of Guru Debaprasad Das's Punyatithi. Specially this year more than 800 artists performed and paid homage to Guruji. No doubt the term "Odissi Mahakumbh" as given by media is fully justified. It is a great milestone for Tridhara.
The Day 1 of the festival began with the Atternoon session at Rabindra Mandap Bhuubaneswar, Odisha on 15th July 2023. We give our heartfelt thanks to the esteemed guests - Shri Prabodh Kumar Rath(Secretary, OSNA), Pt. Prosenjit Poddar(Founder, HAMS), Guru Dhaneswar Swain(Founder, Badyabani Gurukul) Guru Niranjan Rout(Founder, Nupur), Guru Prabhakar Sreechandan(Founder, Utkalika Sangeet Academy). The Lamp lighting ceremony was followed by Daskathia by Shri Debendra Das and Shri Brundaban Gouda which was followed by Odissi dance presentation by Ms. Shreya Sradhanjali Das, Nrutyasree (Karanjia), Lingaraj Kala Niketan (Puri), Ms. Bagmishree Das, Nrutyalaya(Bhubaneswar), Nrutyadham (Bhubaneswar), Suravi (Bhubaneswar), Shree Dance Academy (Bhubaneswar) and Nrutya Prativa(Bhubaneswar).
