TiE Bhubaneswar participated in the inaugural ceremony of the Tech Club and Google Developers’ Group at GITA Autonomous College, Bhubaneswar on 5th October 2024.

Offering valuable insights to aspiring entrepreneurs, Satyabrat Ratho, Vice President of TiE Bhubaneswar, shared his entrepreneurial journey, encouraging students to draw inspiration from their surroundings for generating innovative ideas.

Adding to the discourse, CA Rakesh Kumar Gupta, Treasurer of TiE Bhubaneswar, spoke about the importance of financial management for businesses.

The event also featured Pravat Kumar Panda, Founder and Director of Retrod, who shared his entrepreneurial experiences, inspiring the students to explore new avenues in technology and business.

The program commenced with a welcome address from Prof. P. K. Bal, Head of the Department of Computer Science (AI & ML), and Prof. Tarini P. Panigrahi, Head of the Department of Computer Science. We are delighted to welcome Prof. (Dr.) Dindayal Swain, Professor of Marketing, Director - Sri Sri Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation & Family Business, Faculty of Management Studies, Sri Sri University, as our newest Associate Member. Dr. Swain is an internationally renowned motivational speaker, life and leadership coach with an impressive background in academics and corporate leadership. His distinguished career includes roles such as the former Dean of FMS and Director & Professor at Rajalakshmi School of Business, Chennai, and faculty at the International Management Institute.

A Ph.D. holder from a Central University and an alumnus of the Executive Program at Columbia Business School, Dr. Swain brings 26 years of experience spanning corporate, academia, and speaking engagements. As an ICF Certified Life and Executive Coach, Dr. Swain has trained 70,000 corporate executives and 100,000 students across India and the Asia Pacific region, delivering over 2,500 training programs and motivational talks.
