Team International Relations Committee is delighted to host a webinar on the topic- HR practices in South East Asia, on the 14th October 2022. Prof. José-Maria Aulotte was the guest speaker of the session. He is currently the MBA Program Director, HR Management in International Companies and Head of International Relations at Institute Magellan, Paris. The discussion was about the collaboration of XIM University,Bhubaneswar with Magellan Institute, Paris and how Magellan has been teaching International HRM to XIM students. The students were also introduced to the Summer Expedition Program that is going to be held on January 2023. The speaker encouraged to participate in it to gain knowledge and exposure to International HRM.

The International Relations Committee was graced with the arrival of the Consulate General of France in Calcutta-Mr Didier Talpain, the Press Attache and Diplomatic Liaise- Ms Ankita Roy chaudhury, the Director- Mr. Nicolas Facino and members of the French institute in India.

The event started with welcoming of our esteemed guests and was followe by Interaction Program by XEBS student and IRC students.

We are more than thankful to everyone who attended our event and we look forward to organizing more such events in the future.

Health is a state of complete harmony of body, mind and spirit. In order to lead a healthy life, work life balance should be maintained. Stabilizing constructive habits, emotions, and thoughts requires maintaining good mental health and managing any mental health disorders. Focusing on mental health care can boost productivity, improve our self-perception, and strengthen bonds with others.

XIM University had conducted workshop for improving the health of peace officers (traffic police) in the city of Bhubaneswar in partnership with Swechha India supported by American centre and US embassy, India, on 23rd september, 2022.

Mr. David Moyer, public affairs officer at the US consulate Hyderabad and Mr. Salil Kader, Advisor strategic public engagement at US consulate general Hyderabad, jointly presented their views on the workshop.

We also had the privilege to take them on a short campus tour post workshop.
The workshop oversaw huge participation. Looking forward to more such events!

One of India's holy festivities is the Jagannath Rath Yatra.
The Rath Yatra event honours and celebrates Lord Jagannath's yearly journey from his revered shrine in Puri to his aunt's temple in Gundicha, which he makes with his siblings Subhadra and Balabhadra.
The Rath Yatra is a metaphor for a journey through life with family. The god emerging from the temple is a representation of his earthly presence among the people.

It serves as a lesson that God is present among us and in our hearts, body and mind.
