Learnt from media reports that long queues of trucks, loaded with potatoes are waiting at the West Bengal border. Requested Honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal Mamata Banerjee Ji to kindly intervene in the matter and ensure smooth supply of potatoes to .

As you know, potatoes are an essential item for our people. Due to rains, there has been a short supply of potatoes in Odisha market, resulting in artificial price hike, adding to the suffering of the common man.

I’m saddened to know about the demise of Padma Shri Kamala Pujari, the pride and glory of Odisha. Her rare achievements in collecting different varieties of rice and promoting organic farming will always be a source of inspiration. Her contribution to environmental protection and women empowerment will be remembered forever.

May her soul rest in peace, my heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members.

Multidimensional poverty nearly halved from 24.8% to 14.96% between 2015-16 and 2019-21.

Multidimensional poverty for 2022-23 further likely dropped to 11.28%, with 24.8 crore people moving out of multidimensional poverty between 2013-14 and 2022-23. 99.7% were offered employment of the persons demanding employment under MGNREGA in 2023–2024.

The SDG India Index, the country’s principal tool for measuring national and subnational progress on the SDGs, tracks 113 indicators across 16 goals. This comprehensive assessment underscores the importance of targeted interventions and strategic initiatives. Let's continue to strive for a better future.
