Exquisite Display of Elegance.
"BHIMA" Located in the heart of Calicut at Pottamal Junction, our client's captivating vision sought to harmonize with their tradition while making a resounding statement throughout the city.
Embracing earthy tones and inviting architecture, the design evokes a sense of curiosity, urging visitors to explore and unveil the beauty within. With the jewelry being brilliant in its glitter, the interiors were intentionally understated and subtle, ensuring the spotlight remains on the exquisite pieces.
Exploration, subtlety, earthiness, and curiosity were the key elements of the design journey.
Given the limited height, the interior was crafted as a unified space. Niches and display racks emerge seamlessly from the walls, and gently curved corners enhance the sense of spaciousness. A decorative screen to enhance the grandeur and add a touch of elegance to the entrance.
Step into Bhima, where tradition meets elegance, and let each detail guide you through a journey of discovery and wonder.

Each step, a testament to the artistry of time, where architecture weaves tales sublime.
'ADVAITHAM' - The plot positioned linearly along the road, adjacent to the park is designed to sit diagonally on the site offering a view facing the park. The plot was carefully filled considering the neighbouring elevated terrain and water logging issue, unveiling a diverse landscape of interconnected levels, each narrating a story of thoughtful planning.
Staggering planes adorned with verdant hues were introduced to blur the boundary of the plot and road seamlessly. The home, with its split level planning responds logically to its surroundings.

The threshold to peace and harmony, marked by greenery and chimes.
SWASTHI..a home is built with love and dreams..
Swasthi - was the culmination of a dream for the family, bonded by the threads of precious moments.
The design approach to a slightly irregular edged rectangular site called for linear planning. The site had a level difference of almost 120 cms, sloping towards the rear. On a busy road, the built was pulled into the heart of the site, with split level planning, being a logical response.
The colours and textures of natural materials - laterite and rubble exposed ,timber and steel remained functional as it seamlessly merged with the greens. The pockets of green gardens connected visually to the inside.
The playfulness of spaces at different levels, brought forth pause moments, where one could just gaze into the intimate gardens, or pull a book off a shelf on a reading binge and sit in the outdoor space, surrounded by the greens and the scampering squirrel.

Project Brief:
Vykhary is a cozy haven nestled in the lushgreen setting of an ancestral land. A thought that came up to a socio-responsible doctor as a result of her busy life in the city tocome back to reality; a journey back to the roots. ‘Minimalising the life’ being her ikigai, it was carried through the house in its planning, design and material palette. The design is conceived as two wings - ‘pakalveedu’ and ‘veedu’ connected by a semi-primate verandah, all overlooking into a framed ‘kulam’ (pond) and paddy fields beyond.
