BUNGALOW AT MOHALI
The Entrance Foyer, Living Room & Dining area exhibit a modern classic interior design- a deftly calibrated mix of simple, timeless lines and contemporary panache.
A gorgeous staircase conceived as a focal element of the lobby, carved out a space of its own, adding character to the large scale of the living room.
The subtle beige backdrop with the contrast stone texture makes this space lively. The modest wooden contemporary furniture feels so seamless and fluvial.

Ind Unit for GENUS @ Baddi
The project is an additional Industrial Building unit next to the existing unit, accomplished three years ago. As such, the design prioritizes functionality, creating a space that is efficient, safe, and conducive to the production process.
A Single storey intermediate block has been designed with a wide 3.5m corridor against the existing building for a smooth transition & connection with the new upcoming structure, as the existing production unit was intended to be widened. Also this unit permits an adequate offset betn the two buildings.
The framework of the overall project can be seen as an arrangement of differently proportioned volumes.
Neat geometry is a constant aspect maintained throughout the structure, influencing both its aesthetic qualities and structural integrity.

The FRANCISTOWN ACADEMIC HOSPITAL at Botswana, South Africa, a 90,000-sq.-ft. facility, designed in collaboration with Durban based 3M Hospital Design Consultants , consists of two main programs: a 100-bed acute care hospital and ambulatory care building and a connected medical education hub.
The 10 acre site connects to major arterial roadways, with effective public transit/transportation.
To ensure that the building remains relevant and useful well into the future, the design prioritized a standardized structural grid, and open-ended edges to accommodate future expansion.
The project’s landscape architecture incorporates local and natural materials, such as native plantings and stone, that benefit and meld with existing habitats.
The design embraces the healing power of natural light and nature. Therapeutic gardens are beautifully framed and provide places of respite for staff, patients and visitors.
The neutral palette continues throughout the interior of the facility. A mixture of woods, terrazzo and environmentally friendly materials present themselves in classic details.
Design alterations informed by COVID-19 were implemented during construction to help the building respond to possible future pandemics.

HOME STAY @ RAISON, MANALI
A restoration house project, reflecting the traditional Kathkuni hill architecture of the region, (with walls made of interlocked wooden planks with stone packed in between without mortar). The project is a effort to gather traditional wisdom and place it in the present context.
The owner, with the urge to dish out something new to people, decided for restoration of this more than four decades old house, in Kulu’s scenic village, and offer it as home stay for the tourists visiting the valley.
A typical kathkuni building is one layer of stone followed by one layer of wood above foundation, held together without mortar or metal nails. The logs are interlocked through wooden braces or joints. The weight of the tightly packed stones provide stability to the structure. These environment friendly structures keep the cold out & can survive earthquakes due to its high tensile strength.
As the structure is made out of wood, stone & mud, most of the material is reused. The most critical element of the house are the Balconies & the Dormer Windows. Structurally, Windows are rested & framed within wooden members and the balcony rests on the cantilevered members supported by brackets.
Windows & Balconies has been refurbished as close to original condition. The walls are repaired & re-mud plastered. The joints in wooden members are being strengthened, oiled & varnish finished. The roof is being repaired for leakages & damaged slates. The doorways & wall niches are to gain traditional features.
