TAME THE TIGER!
=================
In ancient times, when people lived in the caves- deep inside the jungles; every morning they stepped out of the cave: imagine a tiger waiting for them outside.
For some of us, the same thing happens when we step into the room of the IELTS interviewer- Anxiety sets in and we get worried. it's like the Tiger is there to catch us. How do we choose to react to these situations?
The First F is Fear: Upon meeting a new person, we get nervous, worry starts to set in and we aren’t able to think rationally, the fear is visible on our faces as the tiger begins to roar. We certainly don't want it to be like that.
The Second F is Freeze: It's a new language, a completely new person, we get anxious, we panic, fear grips us and then we freeze: It’s like saying to the tiger: “ I completely surrender! Over the years, I have helped many students to calm their nerves with some mental exercises. If you feel that way, I can help.
The third F is Fight: Say to yourself, I am going to fight it out even if the interview might be the tiger, I will go down fighting honestly, calmly answering all questions and trying my best. It has cost me to be here. I am going to be 100% percent genuine, I have nothing to hide and If I am true I need not worry. I will have no fear nor will I freeze but I have chosen to fight. Fight for a better tomorrow, fight to support my family, and fight to do something for my community and you will see the tiger running back into the cave.
Good Luck!

THREE-POINT ANSWER: Here I am discussing an important strategy that we need to master for our speaking IELTS interview.
POINT 1: Give a full answer. Avoid using monosyllables ( answering in yes or no) Always remember you are trying to build a conversation here not just answering the question. So, ask yourself how can I expand my answer.
POINT 2: Get into a habit of adding a reason for your answer. Don't wait for the examiner to ask you why because if you don't the examiner will keep asking you why. Practice it all the time before the test.
POINT 3: Try adding an example to support your answer. Examples or stories help to move the conversation further and make it interesting. We tend to get more involved whenever we add an example. More natural expressions flow as we talk about our friends, colleagues, and hometown. We tend to speak fluently as we use examples from our field of study, workplace because we are more familiar with those words so they flow naturally, we get less nervous or distracted and do not get rattled while speaking
