Another unique case of "Limb Salvage by Cryotherapy technique" in which the resected cancerous bone (in selected cases) is sterilized with Liquid Nitrogen at minus196° celsius and re-implanted back in the patient, done for a young 12yrs girl from Jammu- Non- Metastatic, Biopsy-proven Tibia.
*Sharing an interesting small intra-op video of part of the sterilization process in which the resected specimen is dipped inside Liquid Nitrogen.

A large neglected Gluteal mass in a 67yrs old female (Biopsy- proven Dermatofibromasarcoma protuberans/ DFSP, Non-metastatic) taken out with wide margins and salvaging all vital structures to ensure a good functional outcome.

**Pathological Fracture in femur bone (post- irradiated) with no signs of healing at the fracture site and broken plate in-situ
***Unable to bear weight over this limb and practically, bed-ridden for the past almost 1.5years
He was Planned for Limb Salvage Surgery - Subtotal Femur Resection + Endo/Mega Prosthetic Reconstruction. Performed successfully and the patient was made to stand and walk full-weight bearing from the very next day post-surgery.
Young 1.5yrs toddler, Mohd. Rawshan, been discharged after surgery for a painful bone tumor in his leg(tibia) bone. The child is finally pain-free and the parents relieved..!

Size does matter for Sarcomas!
Soft tissue swellings are usually ignored in our part of the world as normal lumps and bumps and patients present quite late, when usually they have attained large sizes.!
Although, Limb Salvage (Limb Preservation) is the norm in over 90percent case's, this one was a challenge with a Large Soft Tissue mass (Myxoid Liposarcoma) with the main Neuro-vascular bundle compressed by the mass...done meticulously, patient had a good surgical and functional outcome and on adjuvant chemotherapy presently.

A 56yrs old gentleman was diagnosed with "Plasma-Cell Osteomyelitis" and Pathological fracture in his femur bone and multiple intra-muscular abscesses in his thigh. He underwent chemotherapy (under Heamato-Oncologist) and staged surgeries with Debridement, Femoral resection Nd Antibiotic Cement-Nail spacer insertion and finally received a "Total Femur Replacement" once his disease entered remission and inflammatory biomarkers settled.
*It's the first "Total Femur-replacement" surgery for Paras Hospitals, Panchkula and first for this region.
**"Plasma-Cell Osteomyelitis" is an extremely rare entity and a diagnostic and treatment challenge [worthy of a publication soon].
