Reaching out to the least with salvation message, provide them food, teach them and pray with them. Remember these in your prayers. They have no knowledge about coronavirus or have nothing to protect themselves. God is their protector.
God of all Comfort and Counsel, we pray for those who are grieving, reeling from the sudden loss of loved ones. May they find your fellowship in their suffering, comfort in their loss, and your hope in their despair. We name before you those known to us who are vulnerable and scared, the frail, the sick and the elderly. He delivered us from such a deadly peril, and he will deliver us. On him we have set our hope that he will deliver us again. Amen!

Jehovah Rapha, God who heals, we pray for all the medical professionals dealing daily with the intense pressures of the crisis. 200 children are provided education upto Grade 10. To upgrade till Grade 12 we need 10 more rooms which will cost $60,000. This will help every boy and girl at Living Hope orphanage to complete Grade 12. Kindly pray for this need.

Pray for 140 Widows, single mothers, young women and economically week who are provided sewing trainings in three centres across India every year. They are gifted with sewing machine which helps them to build a livelihood and self esteem.

Pray for the boy Chandroo and his mother in pink dress. He is not able to walk because of malnourishment. He has no healthy food to eat. We provided him health drink, protein, multivitamins and also some money to buy healthy food. Almost 40% of children are malnourished in India. We feed children in 336 centres at least twice in a week.

The Beginning
Gospel Friends was founded on 30th of August 30, 1992 when 60 believers gathered for sharing in a city called Coimbatore in India. After having heard the messages on “the measure you walk, that measure I give unto you” (Gen 17:13), from Brother R. C. Ghunakumar, 12 believers gathered spontaneously for prayer and there the Lord gave this challenge of “preaching the Goodnews to the poor, healing the broken heart and setting free those who are oppressed” (Luke 4:18). That moment it was decided to call us as Gospel Friends and instantly dedicated two workers to reach the poor and also decided to take care of seven orphan boys at Mt. Zion. Earlier to this Bro. Ghunakumar suffered from Avascular Necrosis on his right hip while he was doing Master’s Degree in Wesley Biblical Seminary Jackson MS, US. He had to come back to India discontinuing his studies. While in India on a particular evening he experienced the miraculous healing of the Lord without any surgery. He went back to continue his studies and finished his course with honors and as he walked in the isle to receive his certificate on 23rd May 1992 the Lord gave him a vision exhorting him to walk for the cause of the poorest, orphans, destitute, widows, blind and the needy.
