Kalakkad Sri Ramnarayanan & taught me. I am so happy to share this bit with you all.
Todays class- "Simple kritis"- A kriti in Raga Malahari - A composition of Sri Narayana Teertha.
Starting online classes from February 23 , to teach " Soundarya Lahari" shlokams with ragam. Weekly one class on Mondays from 3-4 pm.
From Saturday,10th Feb, 10 am, I will be starting "Shyamala dandakam" ( to sing), weekly one class.

Another beautiful composition in raga Kanada
Last evening was very entertaining & encouraging. My student Mrs. Swathi. M. K*mar celebrated first anniversary of her music & dance school 'Tapasya' at Alchemy Blackbox Studio, Adyar.
The music presentation by the students was amazing. Among the many songs they sang, they presented a few of my mother in law Kalaimamani Smt D Pattammal's compositions. I am happy to share a small video of one song.
