At the Helen O'Grady International pre-shool, we ensure our and parents alike are much more aware that when chronic , anger, or upset feelings intrude on children’s thoughts, less capacity is available in working memory to process what they are trying to learn. This implies that, at least in part, academic success depends on a student’s ability to maintain positive social interactions.

The Reggio approach emphasizes children’s innate abilities for developing “over a hundred languages.” Schools “inspired” by the Reggio approach employ arts specialists to work with children to provide high quality and intensive artistic experiences that allow children to build an artistic “alphabet” and eventually an artistic language for personal expression. One language in particular, music, is a natural fit for play-based, artistic learning.

Central to both positive schooling and positive parenting is the cultivation of a positive atmosphere. Embracing optimism, expressing gratitude, and celebrating small victories is what contributes to a joyful learning environment at the Helen O'Grady International Preschool.

Salute to the Chief Guest, the Honourable Inpector of Police, Mrs.Selvakumari, in enlightening the event. The coincidence is that she herself was a Primary Teacher before wearing the reputed police uniform.

Big Thanks to the Teachers and each & every staff for putting abundant effort in training such little ones.
