Vantage Hall Girls' Residential School, Dehradun

On the occasion of Labour Day, we conducted a special assembly to express our gratitude to all our support staff. The Head Girl, Stuti Kumari, acknowledged the dedication and selfless work of all the Didis and Bhaiyas in her address, thanking them for everything they do—from waking the girls in the morning to serving them warm food and ensuring their comfort and safety. The assembly concluded with a fun game of Musical Chairs and the distribution of sweets.

World Scholars Cup is an annual literary event. It includes rounds of debates, writing and quiz competitions. Our teams participated in the Dehradun Round on 27&28 April held at the Unison World School. It was an opportunity to experience the magic of learning with fun!

Our Falcons continue to shine winning gold and silver medals. Six of our Falcons qualified for the Global Round! So proud of our learners! K Dhanya Raju (XII) made it to the Debate Showcase round as one of the panelists and Anushka(IX) represented Vantage Hall as a member of the Debating Team.

We celebrate the remarkable achievements of our learners, whose passion for learning and spirit of teamwork continue to inspire us all.

Our students participated in, Izhaar-E-Hunar & Earth Art, the Annual Cultural Fest at Hopetown School, Dehradun on 25 April 2024. Sameeksha Negi (XII) won the first prize in Pixeleon- Digital Art. We congratulate the winner and participants.

Mornings in Doonga are as delightful as the nights. Our ninth-grade students ventured out in the morning to soak in the serenity of the rising sun, while our tenth-grade students ventured out to marvel at the enchanting full moon. The images capture the essence perfectly.

Bal Sabha – Celeste was well conducted by the students of grade XI. It was a perfect opportunity for the old & new Falcons to work together. It provided a platform for the entire Falcon community to unite and present an evening brimming with captivating performances of dance and music. The new talented Falcons added a fresh dynamic and enthralled the audience.

AFS North India Meet was conducted at Selaqui International School from 20 to 21 April 2024. During the meet keynote speakers spoke about inclusivity and its importance in our society. Students participated in community service and also presented their ideas on inclusivity and diversity. We thank the host school for organizing the meet and look forward to participating in the events in the coming year.

Our students participated in the Debate and Quiz Competition hosted by Daly College Indore from April 17th to 20th, 2024. This experience has undoubtedly enriched their academic journey, providing them with invaluable insights and sharpening their critical thinking abilities.

Vantage Hall Celebrates Ten Glorious Years. A special assembly was conducted to commemorate the event. Our Founder Director, Mr. Rishi Singh, thanked all the past and current members of Vantage Hall for their invaluable contribution. He felicitated two oldest members- Mrs. Parmar who served as the Admissions Counselor & Pastoral Head and Mr. Hari Singh who supervises the green landscaping of the school. He called them the pillars of our institution for their long-standing dedication. After the assembly students headed for Community Service to Premdham, Bajaj Institute, Aasara trust and Ponta Sahib.

Sunday Sports and Arts activity for our new students !

The live music evening on Saturday, April 13th, was a perfect event to enjoy music and let your hair down. The impromptu participation of our girls made the event lively and enjoyable.

Grade VII and VIII visited the imposing Forest Research Institute and the intriguing Science Centre. We are sharing some images.

A special assembly was conducted on the occasion of Eid-Al-Fitr. The soulful Sufi Music transported us to a spiritual world, filling the air with tranquility and devotion. Students read articles and gave presentations on significance and festivities of Eid……. “Eid Mubarakh !”

Jaasvi (Grade VI), Nandita (Grade VII), Moli Agarwal (Grade X) and Aanandi Khurana (Grade XII) participated in Inter-school Chess Tournament 2024 at Kasiga School on 8&9 April.

In a formal ceremony on April 4th, our Class of 2024 graduated from the school. It was a proud moment for parents and teachers to see their girls ready and confident to step into the world outside.
The Chief Guest, Major Vandana Sharma, encouraged the girls to dream big. Giving anecdotes from her life, she motivated the girls to break gender biases and build a world where gender has no role to play in whatever one wishes to accomplish.
It was a fervent moment as the girls reminisced about their time at Vantage. We wish our Class of 2024 the very best in all their future endeavors.

As part of experiential learning, our students of grade X visited Uttarakhand State Council for Science and Technology (UCOST). The Science Centre offers a plethora of activities and fun games with the aim to inculcate a scientific temper in the students. Our girls enjoyed their time at the centre, engaging in activities and games designed to promote scientific understanding and curiosity.

Our students of grades III to VIII returned safely from their trip to Kanatal and Mussoorie. We share some images of our students capturing their adventurous activities, trekking experiences, exploration of the Mall Road, and more!

Drenched in colours, dancing to the rhythm of joy, relishing the traditional Chaat and Gujiaas we celebrated Holi in the lawns of Vantage Hall, our home away from home. Wishing everyone the spirit of Holi- togetherness, joy and laughter!

Lush green peaks, cold breeze, delicious food, music and your close friends- it’s pure bliss! Our end-of-term trips for grades IX and X(2024-25) to Shimla- Kufari and Manali- Solang Valley were a success. We are excited to share some images.

Our Grade XII (2024-25) students went on the end-of-term trip to Mumbai. They returned yesterday safely with loads of memories to cherish. The end-of-term trips are part of school curriculum. Travelling is the best way to learn life skills and have fun too!

Our students from the Junior Hostel embarked on a refreshing Morning Nature Walk in the serene surroundings of Doonga Village! The lush greenery, fragrant forest air, gentle breeze, and melodious birdsong provided a truly invigorating sensory experience!
