Operation TRINETRA - for hunting down the terrorists who did the Poonch Truck ambush. Yesterday morning at 0730 Hours a team of Special Forces established contact with them in Kandi forest, Rajouri. The terrorists triggered an explosion that has led to 5 casualties ( 4 from PARA SF , 1 from RR) one injured officer is under Observation.2 Terrorists have been eliminated in ongoing operation. More details awaited.The 5 Special Forces soldiers were martyred in the Rajouri sector.

The sixth edition of the Japan - India 2022, 22 hosted by the concluded in the with two sides bidding farewell to each other with a customary steam past on 17 September 2022. Indian Naval ships led by Rear Admiral Sanjay Bhalla, and Ships Izumo and Takanami led by Rear Admiral Hirata Toshiyuki, Commander Es**rt Flotilla Four, participated in the week-long exercise. JIMEX 22 witnessed complex exercises undertaken jointly by two navies. Both sides engaged in advanced Anti-submarine warfare, weapon firings and Air Defence exercises. Shipborne helicopters, fighter aircraft and submarines also participated in the exercise. Indian Navy and JMSDF ships replenished each other at sea under the agreement on Reciprocal Provision for Supply and Services (RPSS). The exercise, which marked the tenth anniversary of JIMEX since its inception in 2012, consolidated the mutual understanding and between the two navies.
