Dental Excellence
Dental office’s will likely have concerns about keeping patients and staff safe during the (COVID-19) and may have questions about what to do during a dental emergency.
Patients must be aware that no emergency and prophylactic care will be postponed until the emergency is clear. This is the recommendation or in some states, prohibition is concern for our current condition caused by COVID-19 and the need is to conserve dental supplies, such as personal protective equipment (PPE), for use in emergencies. Another consideration is to focus on caring for patients experiencing dental emergencies, so dental emergencies do not add to volume challenges.
How to prevent transmission in office?
* Temperature readings upon arrival and a series of wellness questions .
* Having patient rinse with hydrogen peroxide before each appointment. COVID19 is susceptible to oxidation this will reduce the salivary load of oral bacteria.
🦠
* Use high speed evacuation for dental procedure producing an aerosol.
* Making sure the ( PPE ) personal protective equipment is being used appropriately for the procedures.
* Use a rubber dam when possible to decrease exposure to infectious agents.
There are many different reasons behind tooth , some are common. As many of these causes are lifestyle. The good news is if the are , they’re easily removed.
It’s no surprise food and drinks are one of the leading causes of stained teeth. And sadly, it doesn’t discriminate between the healthy stuff and the junk:
* Sugary foods:The high sugar content found in sweets and soft drinks feeds the bacteria in your mouth, while also releasing acids that cause decay. This can lead to dark spots.
* Coffee, tea and wine: These drinks contain acidic polyphenols called tannins, which can lead to staining. The change in colour of your teeth, even comes down to the type of tea you’re drinking such as green tea and turns grey , where black tea can cause yellow staining.
* Berries and Acidic Foods: Richly berries such as blueberries and blackberries can stain your teeth. Also, the acidic and citrus foods such as pineapples or tomatoes can eat away at your tooth’s enamel.
Anti-plaque fluoride helps prevent it brightens and whitens teeth without while preventing cavities and formation. It’s a gentle, vanilla minty paste that freshens breath and provides a clean, “Just brushed feeling” that lasts all day long . Finally, lightens teeth without harmful peroxides.
OUR32 Tips on Dental Implants.
Implants are created from pure titanium. They’re small and fit in the bone under the gum like a regular tooth root.
There are three common types of dental implants
•Endosteal
•Subperiosteal
•Zygomatic
Endosteal implants are the most common type of dental implants. They require a healthy jawbone for the post to fuse to. There are placeholder posts that are shaped like screws. They put into the jaw that the false teeth are fitted onto.
Once the procedure is done it will require time to fuse together and create a stronghold. After healing the false tooth/teeth can be placed on the post.
Subperiosteal Implants is the main alternative to Endosteal Implants. Instead of being fixed into the jawbone, subperiosteal implants rests on top of the bone but still under the gum.
A metal frame is placed under the gum with a post attached to it. The gum then heals around the frame to hold it in place. The false teeth are secured to the poles that come from the gum. This procedure is only used if the patient doesn’t have enough jawbone for an implant.
Zygomatic implants are the least common type of dental implant. It’s the most complicated implants and least available. This procedure should only be done if patient doesn’t have enough jawbone for the Endosteal implant.
The implant is placed in the patient’s cheekbone rather than the jawbone.

Tips For New Dentures
When Replacing missing teeth with your new dentures can brighten your smile’s and appearance , while giving you a boost in confidence.
The first most important to know that adjustments are normal after receiving your dentures. It can take a while for your tissues to become used to the new prosthesis. Its not uncommon to require few adjustments in the first couple of weeks.
Once you receive and get in new dentures, there are certain foods you will need to avoid, such as hard nuts or sticky foods. Most patients do well with softer foods in the beginning, such as eggs, yogurt, cooked vegetables, fish, potatoes, etc.
It’s important to know dentures can accumulate plaque and tartar just like your natural teeth, and can stain. Therefore, it is important to brush your dentures using a soft toothbrush or denture brush, warm water, and an antibacterial soap. Your dentures should also be washed in a denture cleanser daily to eliminate debris, food particles, and bacteria.
Even though you’re missing all of your natural teeth, its very important you continue brushing your gums, tongue, and cheeks with toothbrush and toothpaste twice a day. This will not only eliminate the bacteria that causes bad breath, it will also prevent infections.
OUR32 Tips on Dental Crown
Chipped or broken tooth? A dental crown is recommended to restore tooth and improve appearance. Crowns may be required when your tooth has a large filling and has lost the natural tooth structure or if your tooth has had a root canal (RCT) therapy or cosmetic reasons.
There are many types of dental crowns made from stainless steel, porcelain fused to metal, ceramic or resin.
Typically, there are two visits to prepare and place a dental crown. Dentist will take x-rays to check the roots of the tooth and the surrounding bone for any decay or other trouble that could lead to infection or injury. Next, the tooth that will receive the crown is prepared including filing. Paste or putty shall be used to make an impression of the tooth so that the crown does not interfere with your bite. If using a porcelain crown, select the shade that matches the color of the your existing teeth.
Crown will be designed and manufactured and then securely installed. The dentist will start by numbing the tooth and the surrounding area with local anesthetic and then proceed to cement the new crown in its permanent place.
A crown can make such a huge difference in the everyday life of a patient who has suffered for too long with a broken tooth.

OUR32 Tips on RCT (Root Canal Treatment)
RCT is a procedure that treats a severely infected tooth down to the ends of tooth . During this treatment, the nerve and of the tooth is completely removed. When completed the dentist cleans up the tooth and seals it up to prevent any further infection. If left untreated, you may have an infected tooth with more serious problems which can spread to the surrounding tissue. So while the procedure sounds unpleasant, it is far better than its alternative.
The reasons for infection include severe tooth decay, recent dental procedures, large fillings and cracks/ chips in the teeth. If the cause of your tooth pain is serious or in the tooth pulp, your may recommend a root canal.
Not all mouth pains necessarily warrant a , but the following are indicative:
• Serious tooth pain when eating or chewing
• Lingering teeth pain and to hot or cold
• A small pimple like bump on the gums near the teeth
• Severely darkening of tooth to the point of chipping off
• Tenderness or swelling in the gum area
Let’s get to the root of the issue and address. Root canals have the reputation of being painful. Actually, most people report that the procedure itself is no more than having a filling placed.
OUR32
OUR32 Tips on Life after Dental Extraction.
Getting a tooth pulled is not exactly on the top of anyone’s can’t-wait-to-do-list. Most people don’t need anything more than an over the counter painkiller such as Tylenol. Make sure you take a dose immediately after the and don’t wait until the wears off. Sleep with your head elevated on a pillow, the night after surgery. Getting your blood pumping can lead to bleeding in the tooth socket.
Avoid rinsing the day of and the day after surgery. The following days rinse gently with warm salt water, being careful not to dislodge the clot formation in the site.
Avoid brushing over the extracted tooth. You may gently wipe with piece of gauze; it is best to let the site heal on its own. Medicated rinse “Peridex” is enough of a brushing for a few days.
Placing an ice pack on your face in the area where the surgery was performed will help reduce the swelling and pain. If pain increases even after day three, call your to check or other trauma. In most cases, Motrin/Ibuprofen is the best anti-inflammatory/pain reliever available. If you have an allergy, cannot take Motrin, or it makes your stomach hurt.
If you’re prescribed , make sure to take them in entirely and don’t stop when you start to begin feeling better.
Bleeding
The color of blood should decrease to clear-ish red and fluid-like during extraction or later. If after few hours the bleeding is still profuse and deep in color, place a moist tea bag over the site and bite down with gentle pressure. Recheck the bleeding every 30 minutes. If bleeding does not reduce or stop by 7 hours or if you feel dizzy, call emergency.
Food
Eating may be difficult until anesthetic wears off. Limit your diet to soft foods such as mashed potatoes and eggs or yogurt. Also, avoid any sucking for 48-72 hours after surgery, as this can remove the clot that is forming.
Sutures
Sutures may be necessary to create a better healing outcome. Some will come out on there own, while others will need to be removed. Use mouth rinses and salt water rinses to maintain clean or plaque accumulation until they are gone/ removed.
No To***co
Ni****ne will stop the formation of a good blood clot which is the first step in the healing process. Smoking on a cigarette can dislodge any clots and cause a dry socket. Refrain from any to***co use for the first 24 hours after surgery, and try to minimize its use for another 48 hrs. Healing time is typically 2-4 weeks if good oral hygiene is maintained. During this period the gums will heal over and after that period the bone will heal in under the gums for another two months.
Go home and rest and allow your body to respond better and give it a chance to recuperate.
OUR32
It’s imperative to protect your children’s baby teeth for their overall health. Even though they will lose their primary teeth they need to protect them as much as their permanent teeth.
This is true when your child plays any kind of sport. Mouth guards and helmets are the the most common devices to protect your children’s teeth in sports .
The three most common mouth guard also called mouth protectors, they are the boil and bite, custom fit mouth protectors.
1.)The stock mouth guard is usually available at any sporting good store. They are inexpensive and preformed, usually coming in a one-size-fits-most style. They are usually bulky than the rest and uncomfortable. This type of mouth guard may make talking and breathing very difficult. This guard is not generally recommended by dentists, this type of mouth guard though offers the least protection from other two .
2.)These mouth guards are simple as to boil, bite and are also available at sporting goods stores. These type of mouth protectors can be molded to fit your child’s mouth and teeth. Also, When the guard is placed in hot water, the material softens. It can be placed in your child’s mouth and fitted around child’s teeth with pressure from his tongue and fingers. This keeps the mouth guard in place best and is comfortable for your child.
3.). Than you have the Custom fit mouth guards are the best in the market type of protection. The custom mouth guard is a mold created from your dentist that is taken of your child’s teeth. From the mold, your dentist or laboratory can make the mouth guard to the specifically of your child’s mouth. Due to the time and materials used, this type of mouth guard is the most expensive.
Helmets are another form of protection for your child’s teeth when playing in sports . Although not always an option, a helmet can block any blows that could damage your child’s mouth, jaw or teeth.
The best option is to have your child wear both a mouth guard and a helmet for best protection. This combination not only protects their mouth, but also their entire head from possible injury.
Your dentists are the best to find the right mouth guard for your children depending on different sports they are playing .
OUR32 Tips to parents for children sucking their thumbs.
Children, before reaching infancy, use sucking behaviors to calm themselves. Parents rely on pacifiers and teething toys to emotionally regulate them.
Children may continue with this habit with harmful side effects:-
1. Open Bite. Dental malocclusion is a tooth misalignment that is visible when the mouth is closed. Open bite occurs when the top and bottom front teeth become directed outwards and the teeth do not touch even with child's mouth closed completely.
It may require orthodontic correction or treatment.
2. Overbite occurs when the teeth become directed outward and misalignment is restricted to the upper front teeth. Patients with overbite may need treatment with headgear and other orthodontic appliances since the overlapping teeth can prevent proper placement of traditional metal braces brackets.
3. Skin Problems. Being exposed to the moisture of the mouth, the skin can become vulnerable to other injuries and infection.
4. Speech Impediment. Thumb sucking not only affects the growth of teeth, jaw and palate, the habit can also change how your child eats and speaks. It may cause lisping and other speech impediments, including inability to pronounce "D" and "T."
Without correct dental care, even high quality speech therapy may not fully correct these impediments because the deformed sounds are partially caused by the shape of your child's teeth in connection to his/ her tongue.
5. Social stigma. More than a threat to child's dental development, it may create social issues. Children sucking their thumbs in public may become the target of ridicule from their peers.
In children with no permanent teeth, thumb sucking is usually harmless. As the baby teeth begin to fall out and adult teeth begin to develop, you should encourage your child to switch to other comfort methods.

OUR32 Tips for Pre Teen Dental Care
When your kids are around 10 to 12 years, they act like teenagers; want to show mature but actually childish. Early education and preventative care can work wonderfully in protecting your pr***en dental health.
1. Ask right questions about Dental Care
How they perceive dentistry, their personal dental care habits, worst things to happen if not brushing properly, need to floss every day, dental health, desired changes as an adult etc. Their views and open conversation is needed.
2. Discuss negative consequences of Dental neglect
Kids need to perceive potential problems if they don’t brush, floss, swish with mouthwash or regularly visit their dentist. They should know advanced gum diseases and oral problems leading to overall health issues.
3. Set New Rules
Talk on how important their dental health and overall health is to them in future. They should be readily responsible to handle more freedom and independence.
4. Discuss healthy dietary choices
Discuss the connection between diet and dental health. Limit sugary drinks and hard candy. Educate them on reading labels and choosing foods with lower sugar.
5. Discuss Braces
If recommended braces, you should discuss them with your child. They may be terrified. Many of their classmates will get braces, and pr***ens should show sensitivity to kids who wear them.

OUR32 Insights on Teeth Sensitivity
Causes
The inside of a tooth is made up of dentin, containing microscopic tubules filled with tiny nerve endings. The hard outer layer of enamel protects the dentin within the crown, and the cementum protects the dentin down to the root. Dentin hypersensitivity or nerve irritation occurs whenever dentin loses its protective covering of enamel or cementum, exposing the nerve endings to hot, cold, acidic or sticky foods.
Symptoms
Pain, discomfort, triggers, ranging from mild to intense, at the roots of the affected teeth when using:
• hot , cold , sweet foods and beverages
• cold air
• acidic foods
• brushing or flossing teeth
• alcohol-based mouth rinses
Treating
If mild, try over the counter dental treatments. Tooth paste for sensitive teeth having desensitizing ingredients which block the pain at the nerve of the tooth.
Mouthwash - alcohol-free mouth rinse will be less irritating to sensitive teeth.
Using soft toothbrushes and brushing more gently.
It typically takes a week to feel the improvement .
If you are considering teeth bleaching, discuss with your dentist before starting treatment.
Green tea has antioxidant effect and anti-inflammatory properties and can also help in oral health.
OUR32 Tips for protection from Cold Sore.
The key is to act fast.
• Apply Ice
At the initial sign, grab an ice cube, wrap it in a paper towel, place it where cold sore is coming, and let it melt. Repeat.
• Cold Sore Fighting Diet
Boost your immunity against this viral infection. Eat more of broccoli, kale and cauliflower. Avoid foods with arginine - a cold sore triggering amino acid found in nuts, chocolate and oats.
• Stress reduction
Most common causes of cold sore are surprise and stress. Minimizing stress may cause more stress. Just give yourself some time for the restorative and restful activities that drop your heart rate and raise your smile. 😁
• Aloe Vera or OTC Creams
Both natural and medicinal creams are cold sore remedies. Aloe Vera can help the fever blister heal and over the counter creams like docosanol have the ability to knock the sore out of cold sores. Check with your pharmacist before using it.
• Use Sunscreen
Use a lip balm that is SPF 30 or greater to cover the affected lip areas and stay away from the direct sun.
• Medicines
Relieve Pain with Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen which may provide well needed relief. Consult the pharmacist.
Cold sores left untreated may affect other parts of the body and create serious illness.
Don’t forget to smile!

OUR32 FAQs about baby's teeth.
First time parents have no knowledge or experience with baby teeth, brushing or dental hygiene. Taking care of a new baby can be stressful, especially if you feel uncertain about their dental hygiene.
FAQ 1. Does nursing cause tooth decay?
Answer. Although breast milk is best for baby, it does contain some sugar that potentially causes tooth decay. To protect your baby's teeth, brush their teeth twice daily.
FAQ 2. Why are baby teeth spaced apart?
Answer. Baby teeth are naturally spaced apart when they first emerge. These gaps fill in as the mouth fills up with teeth. If the gaps are unusually wide for any reason, your baby's dentist can monitor the situation and make recommendations to correct problems as they become apparent.
FAQ 3. Signs that baby has cooked teeth?
Answer. Since babies have naturally occurring gaps between their teeth, it is difficult to tell if their teeth are growing in crooked or straight. Your baby's dentist will be able to evaluate if something needs be done to correct your child's teeth.

OUR32 Tips on discoloration and stains of teeth.
Color of teeth is seen as social status. Discoloration may be intrinsic or extrinsic. Intrinsic is internal, while extrinsic staining lies on the tooth surface. Extrinsic stains are cosmetic, but intrinsic discoloration could have severe threat to your oral health. Teeth whitening may be resorted to if stains are extrinsic but for Intrinsic discoloration a more involved dental treatment plan is required.
Extrinsic stains are stains on the enamel, a semi-translucent layer of highly resilient mineral crystals that protects your teeth from damage and bacterial infection. Junk eating, drinking, smoking and lack of good dental hygiene, all have the potential to cause extrinsic staining.
Intrinsic discoloration is when the inner layer of the teeth or dentin becomes discolored usually by internal problems. When the dentin becomes discolored, it is more serious than just discoloration like potential tooth decay or other health issues.
Over-the-counter whitening products will only remove minor stains. Tooth decay, which can ruin your tooth’s color might require a dental filling to restore the tooth’s good health. Root canal treatment may be needed if the pulp needs to be removed due to severe tooth decay.

OUR32 Tips for Mouthwash
Mouthwash helps rinse away food particles from teeth after brushing or flossing and protects gum and teeth from oral diseases. The different types, their individual functions, some pros and cons are listed.
1. Fluoride mouthwash contains sodium fluoride which helps protect the teeth from cavities and tooth decay. Fluoride can also be found in toothpaste and tap water. Intake of too much fluoride is not good for health.
2. Antiseptic mouthwash is the most common, usually contains alcohol and prevents bacterial infection. This is helpful for people who have halitosis or bad breath. Avoid overusing, since it may cause discoloration of teeth.
3. Cosmetic mouthwash doesn’t really do anything but is just freshens your breath or masks bad breath.
4. Natural mouthwash has natural ingredients and is a popular alternative as an alcohol free mouthwash. Their ingredients are safer to use.
OUR32
OUR32 Tips for verifying clean teeth.
After brushing (two times per day for two minutes each) , do you verify if your teeth are effectively cleaned?
You could chew the special “disclosing tablet” which comes with harmless dye and shows any leftover areas of bacterial plaque.
Chew the disclosing tablet and let it mix with the saliva in your mouth, then swish the saliva and solution around for about 30 seconds and spit it out. (Use this agent only once a week.)
You may also run your tongue all over the surfaces of your teeth, front and back. If they feel nice and smooth especially down at the gum line, chances are you’ve done a good brushing job. If you feel resisting objects, you may need to brush again.
*You may also use a colored floss to check the plaque you’ve removed. 😃🦷
OUR32 tips for preventive pediatric dental care:
Your child’s smile is priceless. And the cost to keep that smile everlasting is a small value, when preventive, as compared to the corrective, and is reaped throughout the life.
On average, dental costs make up 12% of a child’s total health expenses. The cost of not having dental care can be detrimental if there are untreated tooth decay.
Save money and give your child that precious smile with these OUR32 tips:
1. Baby teeth to be cared more than grown up teeth.
2. Preventive care expenses to be unrestricted.
3. Insurance may be planned and spent accordingly.
The priority of our dental professionals is to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff. The world is facing a worldwide pandemic with Coronavirus (COVID-19). Many dental offices are closed to help mitigate the spread of COVID-19. 😷🤒
For patients needing emergency services, please check with your dentist. Be assured that all protocols are being implemented to protect your families. Your family dentist will be doing additional and thorough sterilization, disinfection and sanitization to help prevent the spread of this virus.
We do hope you and your loved ones remain safe and healthy during this difficult time.
OUR32 Tips for cleaning Interproximal Spaces😃
Interproximal spaces or cavities between the teeth are tough to be cleaned. Flossing is not extremely convenient for cavities between teeth.
This might also raise the risk of gingivitis and gum disease. Flossing after long breaks can also be uncomfortable and cause bleeding gums. In such cases, oral irrigators are the best options. They shoot a stream of water to reach interproximal spaces reducing cavities. They also improve gum health.
For cases with braces or any orthodontic appliance, thread floss results in shredding. Oral irrigator can clean thoroughly around orthodontic appliances. Most importantly talk regularly with your dentist for correct suited advice on how to help your teen avoid cavities.
Everyday is women’s Day , just give the respect they always deserve with your smiles ❤️
Stay away from chemical colors,
Keep your teeth bright and clean ❤️💙💚🧡💜💛
Happy festival of colors to all.
OUR32 tips for dental care while traveling
Traveling with kids is fun always. On the vacations, dental care of the children is extremely important in order to avoid dental decay and other problems with their teeth and gums.
Kids may not want to brush their teeth in new places or in enjoyment or in odd travel timings. You may splurge on travel sized dental care tools making it fun to kids. Themed dental care travel kits featuring superheroes and cartoons help.
Convenience or junk food available during travel is not good for your teeth. Plan ahead and pack dental friendly snacks so you are not tempted to grab whatever convenient when kids get hungry.
* Fresh fruits – orange, tangerine, apple, strawberries etc.
* Raw vegetables – celery, carrot sticks etc. in resealable bags.
* Grains – whole wheat bagel, crackers, pretzels, tortilla chips etc.
* Seeds - pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds etc. separately or mixed.
* Nuts – peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans, pistachios, raisins etc.
* Plant-based milks – unsweetened oat milk, almond milk, walnut milk, soy milk etc. in thermoses.
Kids may fuss about dental care in the trips but right planning will help you prevent decays and cavities.
OUR32 tips for knee to knee examination of infants and young children:
Pediatric Dentistry primarily depends on a knee to knee examination of the child. The dentist allows the child to remain seated on the parent's lap facing the parent while straddling parent's waist. The dentist will then gently lay the child head back into own lap and evaluate child's dentition.
This facilitates that the parent and the child feel comfortable with dental exams and dental environment and also builds trust in the dentist.
In the initial visits, prevention and education are the main priorities. Proper brushing habits, choices of foods and drinks, general oral health, professional dental cleaning, identification of cavities or developmental problems, fluoride treatments etc. are the basic tasks for the dentist.
Diet and hygiene habits, fun tips and tricks, specific do’s and don'ts etc. are parent's responsibilities for toddler’s good dental health.

How to make Brushing Teeth Fun
Brushing teeth can be made fun for children to adapt it and enjoy it, instead of being forced or harassed to make it part of their routine. Do it with them and show them the right process.
Modeling and discussion through play is a great way to help children 👶 establish healthy habits. Find a cute doll and let your child brush the doll teeth with you reviewing how to brush properly. Pictures and books showing basics of good oral hygiene helps a lot.
Give kids choices in the process to make them enjoy it more. Color of the toothbrush, ones with their favorite characters, toothbrushes that light up, different options for morning and evening, designer cups for rinsing, floss colors, flavors of tooth paste, funky brush holders etc. will make kids come forward to brush their teeth twice a day.

OUR32 – Stunning Smiles by Dental Excellence
Children’s first (milk) teeth, apart from chewing and speaking, help maintain space for permanent teeth, developing underneath them in the jaws, shaping the lower part of face. Babies in utero have about 20 teeth already developing. The first permanent tooth is usually one of the four six year molars. Permanent second molars usually appear around age 12. The child will then have a complete set of teeth except wisdom teeth or third molars which usually appear between age 17 and 25.
Ten Commandments of OUR32 for Pediatric Dentistry:
1. Start good habits early – Start brushing as soon as the first baby tooth emerges. Water and a soft bristled brush will be sufficient. Little one’s first visit to the dentist should be mandatory by their first birthday. Limit pacifiers, sippy cups, sugary snacks and sodas. Make sure not to give them a sugary drink like juice or milk at bedtime. Sugary drinks like soda are especially detrimental to good oral health.
2. Remember 2 x 2 – Brush twice a day for two minutes each time. Use a timer for brushing, Trust, but verify. Reward good dental hygiene. Show the proper strokes as they mimic your movements. Model for them the way to brush the hard to reach areas of the mouth, not just their front teeth.
3. Introduce flossing to your child – Once a child has the dexterity to do so, teach them how to floss between their teeth. Model with them until they have a better grasp of it. Check in with them periodically.
4. Consider dental sealants – Tooth decay in children is at epidemic levels. Sealants act as a barrier to the enamel, keeping food from hiding in the cracks and crevices of teeth. Once your baby’s molars begin to cut, it’s the perfect time to talk to your dentist about the connection between sealants and oral hygiene.
5. Tooth Pain – Tooth pain can start at any time, and it can really disrupt your child’s life. Even if the pain goes away, the original cause of the pain will still be there. Bringing your child to the dentist will allow them to treat the source of the pain.
6. Swollen or bleeding gums – Bleeding gums are indicative of inflammation that can lead to serious periodontal problems if left untreated. Swollen gums can be caused by a buildup of plaque that can eventually lead to tooth loss.
7. Tooth Sensitivity – Tooth sensitivity is a major indicator of cavity. If they experience pain or sensitivity when eating hot or cold foods, they should see a dentist. The longer a cavity goes untreated, the more pain it can cause.
8. Bad Breath – If your child seems to have bad breath that won’t go away, even after tooth brushing, it may be a sign of a more serious issue like gum disease. A dentist can help you get to the root of the problem.
9. White Spots – White spots that pop up seemingly without cause on your child’s teeth can be a sign of extreme enamel decay. If you notice white spots appearing, make an appointment with the dentist right away. They can help stop the progression of harmful tooth decay.
10. Regular trips to the dentist – Visit the dentist every six months for their regular cleaning and to determine if additional services will be needed. Talk to your child about the dentist to ease their concerns and remove their anxieties. Consider sedation dentistry. Children have been able to overcome their fear of the dentist due to this valuable service.
