Chaturbhuj Temple, dedicated to Vishnu, is situated at Orchha in Madhya Pradesh. The temple has a complex multi-storied structural view which is a blend of temple, fort and palace.
Originally it was built to deify an image of Rama, as the chief deity, which was installed in the Rama Raja Temple inside the Orchha Fort complex. At present an image of Radha Krishna is worshiped in the temple. The temple is noted for having one of the tallest Vimana (tower) among Hindu temples standing at 344 feet.

THE GREAT WALL OF INDIA

The World's Second Longest Wall, Kumbhalgarh Fort, is Right Here in India. The Kumbhalgarh fort holds a very special place in the hearts of the Rajputs, owing to it being the birthplace of the legendary Maharana Pratap.

It was considered to have been built by Rana Kumbha in the 15th century. The fort is further declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site that is under the group Hill Forts of Rajasthan.

The fort is located on a hilltop and the perimeter of the walls of the fort is 36 kms. The front wall is 15 feet thick.

There are 360 temples inside the fort of which 300 are Jain temples, the rest are Hindu ones.

The fort is among the largest fort complexes in the world, and the second largest fort in India after Chittor Fort.

With a beautiful landscape that leaves everyone spellbound, Langza at Spiti Valley in Himachal Pradesh is your peaceful realm to be. As sunlight falls on the snow clad mountains, it sparkles like glitter giving you some picturesque geography to capture in your memorie.

On the Shatrunjaya hills in Palitana, in the district of Bhavnagar, Gujarat, are the Palitana temples, a significant Jain temple complex. Historically, Palitana was known as Padliptapur of Kathiawad, and its concentration of over 800 minor shrines and major temples has led many to call the city "The City of Temples." As part of Jainism's Svetambara tradition, it is among the holiest places. The construction of these temples took place between the 11th and 12th centuries CE.

🏔️Resting snugly within Spiti Valley, the Key Monastery (or Ki, or, Kye, or Kee) looks like a ramshackle temple of mysticism straight out of a fantasy novel.
Around 250 monks reside here at any given time - meditating, training, farming, and generally keeping the "thousand year old wonder" alive.

💡 - For one of the most beautiful sunsets in the Spiti Valley, walk behind the monastery and look for a trail leading up the mountain. Pictures you get from that vantage point are breathtaking.

C'è una notizia molto buona legata alla diffusione del coronavirus ed è che il numero di leoni asiatici nello Stato indiano del Gujarat è aumentato. Secondo le informazioni la percentuale di leoni è aumentata del 29% arrivando a 674 unità... abitabile da questi animali.
La buona notizia è che anche la superficie abitabile di questi leoni è aumentata del 36%.
In precedenza è stato calcolato nel maggio 2015, in base al quale il numero di leoni erano 523.

Abbiamo deciso di non pubblicare le foto dell'elefantessa morta con il cucciolo in grembo perché sono aberranti.
Le avevano offerto ananas riempiti di petardi che poi le sono esplosi squarciandole bocca e pancia, dove in grembo portava il suo cucciolo.
Non aveva mai fatto del male a nessuno.
Non ha fatto del male a un singolo essere umano anche quando si è messa a correre in preda ad un dolore lancinante per le strade del villaggio.
Non ha distrutto una sola casa.
Ed è andata a morire nel fiume dove si era rifugiata in cerca di riparo e sollievo per le gravissime ferite.

Anche oggi, l'umanità ha dato il peggio di sé
