Dussehra denotes victory of good over evil and there are two stories that are associated with the festival in Hindu mythology. It is said that it was on this day that goddess Durga defeated Mahishasura after a fierce battle lasting for more than nine days. In many parts of the country, it is celebrated to mark the victory of Lord Rama over ten-headed demon king of Lanka, Ravana.
Shardiya Navratri 2021 Day 6: The sixth day of Navratri (Shashti) is dedicated to Maa Katyayani. Maa Katyayani rides a lion and has four hands. She carries lotus flower and sword in her left hands while keeping her right hands in Abhaya and Varada Mudras.

Day 5 of the festival of Navratri is celebrated with the worship of Goddess Skandamata who happens to be another manifestation of Goddess Durga. Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati's son Kartikeya is also known Skand and hence Skandmata is another name for Parvati ji.
Today is Mental Health Day!!
It is VERY important to keep a check of your mental health. Usually, we either ignore it or we don't know whom to approach to!!
If you feeling trapped, confined, unable to socialize, unable to express yourself, low in self-esteem - time to go and talk to someone!
We usually think what the other person will think when we are going to approach them, there is social stigma attached to it. BUT, it is ALWAYS better to consult/talk to someone with whom you are comfortable with. Try to express how you feel, what bothers you. There is a solution to everything. Anyone who loves you truly, will not judge you.
It is OKAY to be yourself, it is absolutely fine to express how you feel, what is going inside you. Don’t judge yourself, ask for HELP if there is a need!
Start doing yoga or some form of physical activity, start doing things which makes you happy, start developing some hobby (maybe cooking, gardening, reading books). Try to connect yourself with spiritual power. Do meditation. But all this is possible when we are in correct state of mind.
If you have problem with some person, some emotions are hurting you – fear, guilt, anger, loss of your loved ones, emotional baggage of what has happened in the past – let it go. Forgive and detach yourself.
It is very important to love yourself first than loving others. Its is easier to said than to be done. But TRY, because that is the first step!!
Lots of love.
Navratri are good times for remedy, be it your relationship, health, career. Remedy done during this time is 10% more effective than normal days.
Todays remedy: Those boys and girls who have Manglik dosha in their kundli should immerse an earthen idol of goddess Durga in a river during Navratri. Offering of a red cloth and (sindur) vermilion to the goddess also removes doshas created by Mars.
Day 4 - On the fourth day of nine days of festivity, Goddess Kushmanda is worshipped. She is the fourth form of Navdurga. Goddess Kushmanda is believed to be the creator of the universe. She is believed to be residing in the centre of the sun as she balances the energy and light that is liberated to the universe.
Day 3 - On this day, the third form of Goddess Durga - Chandraghanta is worshipped. She is the married form of the Goddess Parvati and is known as Maa Chandraghanta as she adorns her forehead with half Chandra.
Day 2 - Jai Mata Di!
Jai Mata Di! Happy Navratri all of you. May Maa Durga shower her blessings on us.
Today is Amavasya, it is of great religious significance in Hinduism. It is considered a perfect time in remembering the ancestors and departed souls of the family and worshipping them. Evil spirits and adverse effects of black magic are very powerful on Amavasya as per the astrological and spiritual perspective. You can donate something to brahmin or to needy person. It will give you immense satisfaction. Alternatively, you can do the below ritual too to attract the things in your life.
As you all are aware that Shradh is going on, it is believed that certain rituals performed during this period appease the souls of the ancestors and bring happiness and prosperity at home. It is a way for people to express heartfelt gratitude towards their parents and ancestors, for having helped them to be what they are and praying for their peace.
Saying that - please take utmost care, give love, respect to your parents when they are alive too!! Nobody can replace them. Spend your time with them.
😍🥰
Haathi ghoda palki, Jai Kahniya lal ki! May lord Krishna shower his blessing on us!!

This post is for all those who have lost their loved ones due to Covid or some other reason!! I understand it’s a very difficult time for their families. May god gives lots of strength and courage to all who have lost their loved ones! May the departed souls rest in peace.
I lost my mother due to Covid. I was very very close to her! Its hurts me to even imagine how she spent 23 days of her life in hospital all alone. 24th May was dark day of my life, I lost my best friend (my mother) on that day!! How I wish I could bring her back!! I wish I could be there with her during her last time! I wish I could her hug her last time! I wish I could tell her how I feel, I wish I could hear her voice last time. I wish so many things! But God had some other plans.
Maa, the fact you are no longer with me gives me immense pain but you will be forever in my heart until we meet again. It is a very difficult time but difficult time makes us strong. I know my mother is looking at me from heaven. I can feel her blessings all the time. I can feel she is always with me.
So, to all those who have lost their loved ones – please getup again. It is important to rise again, your loved ones will be happy to see you rising. Initially it will be very difficult to do even daily tasks but take small steps. And after few days you will feel you are regaining your strength. Every soul has some purpose in this life, so get up and complete that purpose of your life.
Remember soul is immortal and our body is perishable – Beautiful soul never dies, they are transformed into new body!
