EVolve ( EV Operations & Lending Vibrancy in Ecosystem) begins
To complement mission 30@30 , with support of has been undertaking stakeholder consultation series. Two days capacity building program for senior credit officers comprising officials from leading dfi/Banks/ NBFCs begun today.
The senior officers were exposed to the eco system by visit to Autoexpo 2023 in Greater Noida and interacted with multiple 2-w and 3-w EV OEMs along with chargers and battery swapping players.
SIDBI has decided to reduce its carbon footprint in a phased manner and eventually become carbon neutral by December 2024. In this direction, SIDBI Mysuru BO has adopted eco-friendly and sustainable interior measures in its office space and has become the first Green Office of SIDBI and has obtained a Platinum certification from India Green Building Council [IGBC] under existing interior category.

Supported by this engagement endeavors to bring on board missing links to induce a culture of environmental consciousness and responsiveness.
Besides formalizing rag pickers, linking a waste recycling enterprise intends to incentivize the conscious adopter/ mover in adopting this culture.
Each good move of putting a plastic bottle in the machine generates a coupon. It can be encashed for recharging mobile or purchasing from Swavalambi. A startup has been roped in by DICCI which has brought innovation on board.

To unlock financing for the ESCO market in India, SIDBI with the support of The has designed the Partial Risk Sharing Facility (PRSF) in collaboration with the Bureau of Energy Efficiency ( ) and the Energy Efficiency and Services Limited ( ). The project is funded by Global Environment Facility ( ), and the Clean Technology Fund.
The Partial risk-sharing project has successfully initiated an ecosystem for green financing and envisages a flourishing marketplace for ESCOs.
