• Must Have 3+ years’ experience in cutting, coloring, styling, shampooing and blow drying hair in a unisex salon.
• He should be proficient in hair straightening and curling methods, using hot irons and curlers.
• Must be having plenty of hands-on experience with various coloring techniques like highlights, balayage & ombre etc.
• Should possess thorough knowledge & experience of hair chemical treatments like keratin, botox & smoothening etc.
• Must have knowledge of and expertise in applying hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks).
• He should be an expert in administering hair spas and head massages too. Must possess a repertory of a wide range of haircuts, suitable for all hair lengths (e.g. braids, ponytails, bun and top knots).
• Adequate skill & expertise to create hairstyles for all types of formal & casual occasions is also a necessary requirement.
• Has a habit of keeping himself updated and remains on top of current hair cutting and styling trends.
• Maintains impeccable cleanliness of salon and his station. He should regularly maintain & sterilize his tools and equipment as needed.
• Should be able to track and maintain inventory of hair products and tools adequately.
• Ensures clients with scheduled appointments receive service in a timely manner and to their fullest satisfaction.
• Candidates having a friendly and professional demeanour with excellent communication and customer service skills would be preferred. He would be expected to form bonds with loyal customers and remember their hairstyle & color preferences.
• He is expected to manage bookings, serve walk-ins, cross sell hair care products or services.
• He should also be able and willing to work a flexible schedule in times of heavy workload.
