And a US military soldier in Vietnam war says for a battle ground... "we are returning to the crime scene..." This one sentence is the theme of this 1989 Oscar, BAFTA, Golden Globe and American Guild award. Though a feature film, it is like a documentary of the miserable lives of American soldiers in Vietnam and helpless civilians in Vietnam. War is just another name of crime, and Oliver Stone has advocated it wonderfully in this movie. It's in English.

She wrote and directed the feature film True Crime, starring Alicia Silverstone, and her writing credits also include documentary shorts for HBO and Showtime. She co-produced Somewhere Between, a feature documentary about four teenaged girls transracially adopted from China, and served as a story consultant on the Tinkerbell franchise for Disney. My friends and aspirants in film business, "Beware of the wrong track!" The talent is inborn. Many people good in one field of cinema switches to other for creative craving. In my experience and observation of this field for 25 years, I warn them. Rather than switching for a picnic mode know yourself and focus your talent. Mainly DOPs becoming directors, directors with better talent to be a producer wasting their time in direction. The worst passion is that is for writing, which everyone wants to follow. It takes years to become a writer and a writer must have deep knowledge of many subjects and psychology. So better to take help from someone with years behind the craft. Producers who want to become directors is another creed who waste energy rather than focusing on expansion of the business. And now actors becoming casting directors or directors. They should find good directors indeed. I hope my message is clear. Everyone loves to be creative. But there is something inborn. Hone that and take help of others for other works.
