Guru Har Rai Sahib, the 7th Guru, was a gentle, compassionate yet firm leader.
He was very fond of nature and even established an Ayurvedic medicine hospital at Kiratpur Sahib. Once Dara Shikoh, the eldest song of Shah Jahan fell seriously ill with some unknown disease and even the best royal physicians failed to find a cure.
Finally, the emperor humbly requested Guru Sahib to treat his son. Guru Sahib handed over a rare natural medicine and saved Dara Shikoh.
