Castle 9
The idea of Castle 9 rested in the hearts of the owners for a long time. The foundation was finally put in September 2005 and after four months of rigorous hard work and logical planning; the dream finally came true when Castle 9 opened its doors for its valued guests on December 31st 2005.The Golden History:
Looking back it is pretty surprising to know that the first registration done by the secretary of India in council was with M/S D. Marco Polo & company on November 19th 1924 during the historic British Raj. Since then, the area was sold to different owners till it was finally leased out to Castle 9 Restaurants Pvt. Ltd., the operating company for Castle 9 on September 1st 2005.

Knight (World Cuisine Fine Dining Lounge by Castle 9)

New Delhi, September 21, 2007. Even as Delhi becomes a gourmet’s haven with multiplicity of specialty restaurants, Knight, the most strategically located restaurant in Connaught Place, has launched its unique World Cuisine outlet, offering absolutely authentic selection of recipes. And more so there are recipes which may not be available in any other outlet in Delhi. The food has been chosen with infinite care, researched and tested extensively, and authenticity established beyond doubt.
Maintaining the essence of World Cuisine, the Knight menu offers exotic pleasures of the palate from Louisiana Seafood Chowder to Hungarian Goulash. The real Seafood Sampler goes with the Spanish wines, Roast Baby Chicken and the very special Roast leg of Lamb, an all-American favorite, with Californian wines. Grilled Australian Chops are paired with a fine selection of wines from down under. The Dragon Prawns and a very special Hunan Lamb figure prominently.
Vegetarians will not be left behind since they shall also have a wide range of choice, ranging from a choice of salads, canapés, assorted cheese platters and dips, Basil Red Skin Mashed Potatoes, the very Italian Pizza Margharita, Veg Mezze Platters, Vegetable Brochettes and many others. Indian delights also figure in the menu.
“The Bar” at Knight stands out with an extremely well-stocked with a fine selection of champagnes and sparkling wines, like Krug Grande Cuvee, La Grande Dame and Dom Perignon. Burgundies and wine from the Rhone Valley and Loire region, New World wines from Australia, California, and New Zealand add to the fine dining experience.

CASTLE 9 Restaurant and Lounge, a great place to hang out in Connaught Place introduced the latest jewel in its crown "Knight Rider" – Global Restaurant & Lounge to Welcome the New Year 2011.
The newly opened restaurant with its fresh ambience and great music offers a selection of scrumptious world cuisine & beverages and is a perfect place for the NCR young to hang out or Party!
Knight Rider is a theme restaurant based on the 70s pop art era and is the only one of its kind in Delhi-NCR. Everything, right from its beautifully done up interiors, artfully crafted seating to the 70s Rock & Roll style DJ console invigorates your senses and sets the mood for a memorable experience. Needless to say all this is accompanied by lively music, innovative lighting and a perfectly turned out staff!
On the Food front, the menu has had no effort spared in the attention to detailing and design. The choice is global ranging from Continental to Oriental, Mexican to Indonesian & European to our own Indian cuisine. Most dishes are served pre-plated. Sizzlers are a specialty and the restaurant introduces the interesting concept of sizzling burgers which are flambéed live on the table. The Indian dishes are served with a complimentary baby Nan or a portion of rice, the Oriental main course is served with a portion of rice or noodles.
The beverage menu also brings a whole array of choices ranging from Johnnie Walker Blue Label to Glenfiddich 30, from Jack Daniels to John Jameson’s. They have super premium Champagnes like Krug Grand Cuvee and Dom Perignon. In the regular category choice of Johnnie Walker Black & Red along with other spirits like Chivas Regal, Dewar’s (12yrs), Whyte & Mackey, Cutty Sark, Belvedere, Grey Goose & many more are available. Prices are competitive for both the food & beverages
