Highly recommend this gem of a place!
Colonel's retreat is a home away from home. I highly, highly recommend staying here. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless and clean, the beds are SO comfortable, the space is decorated with some beautiful art, and you feel super safe staying as a single woman. The staff is absolutely wonderful - booking with Esther is seamless, and the security guard is a lovely man, always kind and helpful. The little touches are what make this place amazing - banana bread in the room, high tea on the terrace and everyone goes above and beyond. Special mention for the food - breakfast is a delight with the homemade jams and bread, and we had dinner here one night and easily one of my best meals in Delhi. This has become my go to place every time I need to stay in Delhi and I can't wait to be back!

‘Demon Meena’, a women’s cricket pioneer, cheers for WPL Meena Khanna played for Roshanara Girls Cricket Club in the Terance Shone Trophy during the 1950s to 70s; she was so fast that she would make stumps go cartwheeling.
