As many single truck owners were non compliant this issue was creating a major hurdle in doing business

The relief provided shall help reduce the penalty burden on many businesses levied in the last few quarters

The Narendra Modi led Government confirmed that Bhartiya Nyaya Sahita will come into force from 1st July 2024. But they have excluded Section 106 (2) which had caused a nationwide stir amongst the truck drivers

We are grateful to the Government for understanding the difficulties faced by truck drivers and excluding this from the law

We also would like to appreciate the commitment towards improving the lives of truck drivers by providing 1000 world class rest facilities on National Highways Authority of India - NHAI

Launched on 14th September 2023, in New Delhi by Smt Sumita Dawra (IAS, Spl Secretary Logistics Ministry of Commerce), Shri Madhusudan Agarwal (Hon Consul General of Uganda, Vice Chairman Ajanta Pharma Ltd), Shri Susheel Gupta (CA, Gen Secretary Sewa Bharti Delhi), Shri Ramesh Agarwal (National President AITWA, Chairman Agarwal Packers & Movers Ltd), Shri KK Agarwal (Chairman CJ Darcl Logistics) and many more

Highway Heroes+ aims to bringforth all the support for driver welfare and uplifting their lives

All India Transporters Welfare Association alongwith Lawyered shall provide accident insurance, medical due to accident cover, 24x7 dedicated legal helpline, upto Rs 25000 credit limit and several other benefits to the HH+ card holders at a nominal cost

Women truck drivers are encouraged and shall be given free HH+ cards with all support. Smt Yogita Raghuvanshi, India's first lady truck driver was honoured at the event

Corporates such as IDFC FIRST Bank have already committed to the cause and many more are joining hands with HH+

More than 10000 cards were subscribed with the support of AITWA members and supporters on the day of launch. AITWA aims to make this available to every truck driver through a few clicks on their mobile soon.

If transporters, vendors & truck owners do not comply with this direction, higher rate of TDS would be deducted by the paying company

It is necessary to comply for all individuals to avoid such deduction

Fraud Broker in Police Custody

In mid February, Sandeep Sheoran of Mahindipur Balaji Roadline Transport Co, Ahmedabad sent 6 vehicles for loading for one member

Took full advance and vanished. The trucks were stranded, disputes took place, extra money had to be spent & lot of delay took place

With the help of All India Transporters Welfare Association the member went ahead to complaint to local police and finally the culprit was caught on Friday 17th March 2023 in Aurangabad

Many cases have now been registered and it appears more than 100 Transporters are defrauded by this scamster

If anyone has had any such fraud with him, kindly contact AITWA office on given numbers for help in registering your complaint against him

In cases of fraud most transporters don't file police complaint but we urge all to to not leave the matter. Report to AITWA and file complaint with Police always!!!
