Truly tackling rural poverty and bringing equal opportunities to all means having a multidimensional design solution. That means engaging MANY different stakeholders from the villagers themselves to business and government. In Jharkhand TRI works with some 8 different state departments – so communication and convergence are key.

Enter the Convergence Portal.

The one-stop digital solution will help ensure the smoother implementation of convergence-based initiatives under MGNREGA.

TRI’s Planning Cell, embedded within the MGNREGA Division, has prepared the Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and the developer, Jharkhand State Livelihood Promotion Society (JSLPS), created the portal under the guidance of the MGNREGA Commissioner.

The single digital platform is a one-stop solution for tracking work allocation and progress – monitoring the impact of programmes on-the-ground across various departments, districts and blocks. It will serve as a transparent platform for fund-allocation and utilization tracking for both department users and MGNREGA users. It will also have a statistical dashboard at the state and district levels.

And, of course, it is intuitive software that is easy to use and operate.

TRI is also providing training and support of the Convergence Portal – a tool that underscores our commitment to designing multidimensional solutions for impact.

To strengthen the Convergence Initiative between the Ministry of Agriculture & Farmer Welfare and Ministry of Rural Development, an MoU was signed for engaging Krishi Sakhis in various Agricultural Activities. The Krishi Sakhis of NRLM will be trained in a certified module of Natural Farming, Organic Farming & Soil Health.
