The year long celebration of the CHSS 50th Anniversary is comming to an end. And in the process of making all the celebration a successfull and meaningfull one, there were some forces who has always been instrumental in the grand making of all occasions. CHSS 50th Anniversary Souvenir and Publicity Committee is leaving no stone unturned in reliving the milestones that the former Administrators have rock solidly planted in the School that was once their mission fields, and still so so dear to them.
Mrs.Patricia Zhimomi and Miss Laisen Aier met up with Miss Menuo Keditsu and Mr. Aheto Sumi (and very soon with the longest serving Principal Mrs Khrielenuo Terhuja and Mr Moatemsu Walling, present Principal) and conversed them on various school related experiences which is surely is going to create an audiovisual magic during the Grand Finale of CHSS 50th Anniversary on 3 November!!

Cleanliness Drive 19 August 2017 ...pics story

In Commemoration of the CHSS 50th Anniversary Celebration, a Cleanliness Drive is scheduled on 19th August 2017. The drive starts from 6:00 AM till 8:00AM. Interested students and well wishers are invited to join this event.

CHSS' new anthem was pre-launched @ the Covenant Hall on 16/08/2017 with Mr.Nise Meruno, internationally renowned musician, the composer and a CHSS alum himself, partaking in an interactive session with students of CHSS.
Moderated by Mrs.Renbeni, teacher and alumnus of CHSS, the talks gave Nise to share about his school days, the school's influence on his career, and advice to the students.
Talking about how he composed the School Anthem,he said that it was a "masterpiece", and very special for he had to go down deep to his heart, an honest place, to get his inspiration. The tune of the song he said had lines of nostalgia, and poignancy ( but from sweet memories) of his school days.
Nise also answered the queries of the students where he talked about obstacles he faced, his inspiration to compose music, and family support towards his career as a musician.
As a prelude to the School Anthem, Nise enthralled the young learners with " What a Wonderful World". He closed the program with the new School Anthem.
The school choir will perform the School Anthem during the Grand Finale of CHSS' 50th Anniversary celebrations on November 3,2017.
