Today is the National Civil Services Day. On this day, in 1947, Sardar Patel gave his speech to the IAS probationers. He reminded all of them "to adopt yourselves to democratic ways of administration."
It is a day to remember the responsibility that the Father of Indian Civil Services have given us. Let's read it in his own words "... I hope that you, who are now starting, as it were, a new generation of civil servants, will not be misled by the black sheep in the fold, but would render your service without fear or favour and without any expectation of extraneous rewards."

Jyotiba Phule was born on 11 April 1827 in Bombay Presidency in British India. He had its origins in the village of Katgun, near the town of Satara. He is a well-known social reformer, educationist, author, poet, businessman, commissioner of Poona Muncipal Corporation and so on. Let's remember his legacy on his 197th birth anniversary.

ध्रुव आय. एस. अकॅडमी नेहमीच मूलभूत शिक्षणावर भर देते. स्पर्धा परीक्षांशिवायही शैक्षणिक उपक्रम राबविण्यात आम्हाला रस आहे. इंग्रजी किंवा गणिताबाबत अनेक शालेय विद्यार्थ्यांच्या मनात असलेली भिती/ नावड दूर करून त्यांच्या मनात या विषयांची गोडी निर्माण व्हावी यासाठी गेल्या वर्षीप्रमाणेच अभ्यास PLUS हा उपक्रम आम्ही घेउन येत आहोत.

मागील वर्षी या उपक्रमाला मुलांचा आणि पालकांचा उत्तम प्रतिसाद लाभला तसंच तो परिणामकारक ही ठरला म्हणूनच याही वर्षी अजून नावीन्यपूर्ण पद्धतीने इयत्ता ६ वी ते ८ वी मधील विद्यार्थ्यांसाठी हा उपक्रम होणार आहे.

केवळ परीक्षेतील मार्कांसाठी अभ्यास करायचा नाही तर हसत खेळत, एखादा विषय, त्यातील तत्वे, संकल्पनांचा अभ्यास करायचा,उजळणी करायची असा हा सामुहिक उपक्रम असेल.

भक्ती गोखले आणि महेश वझे प्रामुख्याने यात मुलांना मार्गदर्शन करणार आहेत. भाषा समजायला लागली की इतर विषय सोपे होतात म्हणून इंग्रजी व्याकरण आणि Writing skills यावर भर असेल. गणितातील मूलभूत संकल्पना समजल्या व वापरत्या आल्या की तोही विषय सोपा वाटु लागतो.

इंग्रजी, गणिताबरोबरच अभ्यास कौशल्य , सामान्य ज्ञान, चित्रपट, काही Activities, फील्ड व्हिझिट यांचाही समावेश या उपक्रमात आहे. याचे सहभाग प्रमाणपत्र ही विद्यार्थ्यांना देण्यात येईल.

सोमवार, २२ एप्रिल ते शनिवार ४ मे पर्यंत आठवड्यातील ६ दिवस - सकाळी ९ ते १ या वेळेत हा अभ्यासवर्ग होईल. एकूण शुल्क ३४९९ /- रुपये असेल. एका वर्गात विद्यार्थी संख्या २० पेक्षा अधिक ठेवण्याचा विचार नाही. त्यामुळे लवकरात लवकर नोंदणी करा ही विनंती.
