“GURUKUL” was established in the year 2002 with the sole purpose of teaching and promoting Indian Classical Music and its various aspects .

This institute of Indian Classical Music served its very purpose throughout these years in educating many with the knowledge of Indian Music. Ustad Ghulam Akbar Khan of Rampur Sahswan Gharana , son-in –law of Ustad Nissar Hussain Khan was one of the teachers who used to come each month to teach in this Institute . Now, students of this great Ustad teach the pupils and follow the same old tradition of Guru- Shishya parampara.
