Exotistic Design Studio believes that Colour has a profound influence on a space and the people in it. But that is not all. Colour does much more than make a room look pretty. It affects our moods and our state of mind.

· All colours change their character when lightness and saturation are modified. So, it is not enough to pick a colour for a certain interior design element because you also need to pick a shade.

· Different shades evoke certain emotions. When choosing your colour, it is important to consider the kind of atmosphere you wish to create and which colour will help you achieve this.

· Warm tones, like red, orange and yellow can energise a space and its occupants.

· Cool tones such as blue, green and purple generally create quiet, relaxing atmospheres.
