Abhishek Anshul Yadav

Our Story

Abhishek Yadav (Anshul) is an Indian Politician. He is currently serving as Chairman of District Council Etawah (Uttar Pradesh). Commonly known among the public as “Anshul”. He got elected as Chairman unopposed and took office on 14th January 2016. He is the nephew of veteran leader Mr Mulayam Singh Yadav (Netaji) and cousin brother of Mr Akhilesh Yadav, President of Samajwadi Party.

Born in a humble family background of Saifai village in Etawah district of Uttar Pradesh. While growing up he was deeply influenced by the political transitions taking place around him during which Netaji, who was then serving as Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh for the second term and has already formed his own political party, Samajwadi Party which changed the political narrative of the country.

Although, he campaigned for Netaji in the year 2007 for his legislative assembly election from Bharthana where he had a comfortable win. In the parliamentary election of 2009, he campaigned for his cousin brother Dharmendra Yadav for Badaun Lok Sabha constituency. He came at the active political front in the year 2010 when he aggressively campaigned for his mother, Prem Lata Yadav, who was running for District Council election for seeking her second consecutive term.

He was further given responsibilities by the party in 2012 state general elections to campaign in constituencies in and around Etawah. In 2014, he campaigned in Etawah, Badaun, Mainpuri and Azamgarh Lok Sabha constituencies for his party. In 2017 & 2019 he was appointed as party’s star-campaigner whereby he campaigned in various districts of Uttar Pradesh.
