What is small quantity in NDPS Act?

As per the law, in relation to narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, a 'small quantity' means any quantity lesser than the quantity specified by the Union government. As per the notification, for example, up-to 100 gms of cannabis and 1000 g of g***a will count as a 'small quantity'.

NDPS - Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985. NDPS Act that prohibits a person the production, manufacturing, cultivation, possession, sale, purchasing, transport, storage, and/or consumption of any narcotic drug or psychotropic substance.

What is the section 406 of IPC?

Section 406 in The Indian Penal Code 406. Punishment for criminal breach of trust. Whoever commits criminal breach of trust shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.

What is IPC 420?

Whoever cheats and thereby dishonestly induces the person de­ceived to deliver any property to any person, or to make, alter or destroy the whole or any part of a valuable security, or anything which is signed or sealed, and which is capable of being converted into a valuable security, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to seven years, and shall also be liable to fine.
