Partially erupted Mesioangular and Horizontally impacted mandibular third molar surgically extracted under LA followed by extraction of second molar root stumps and sutures✨

Impaction done w.r.t 38 under local anaesthesia followed by sutures
Successfully saved the prosthetic part which is in 34 to 36 region ✅

⭐️Case of the day

Patient came with periapical abscess wrt 33 34 35
1) Root canal treatment performed wrt 33 34 35.
2) Crown lengthening done with 31 32 41 42.
3) Bite correction done by raising 1 - 1.5 mm.
4) Centric relation determined.
5) Complete fixed partial denture was planned from 38 to 48
6) Lab fabricated pfm crown were cemented.

Upper arch rehabilitation planned for next month.

Grossly decayed third molar extraction followed by sutures

1) Patient presented with chief complain of fractured tooth .
2)Radiographically , Root stump is present , periapical lesion is prominent .
3) All treatment options discussed, he decided for root stump extraction followed by implant placement.
4) After profound anaesthesia, elevator and sharp beak forceps were used for extraction. Both hard and soft tissue were preserved.
5)After extraction , austin company implant placed.

It is always nice to see root canal treatment works.
This patient had rct done 2 months ago.
