Students of Rawal college of Education had a knowledge filled session with Sunita Jain , Counsellor Psychologist & meditation Practitioner. She discussed the related academic concepts with her personal life experiences which added a special touch to the session. She explained that active listening skills are helpful for exponential growth of students' knowledge that promotes mindful thinking and reduces anxiety and depression among students. It also helps students to build relationships because when they engage themselves in conversation, their peers are more likely to listen them. The perspective teachers of the college learned that listening skill can enrich a student's life both inside and outside the classroom.

She discussed the physical health problems and mental health of children during puberty. Her thoughtful correlation of academic concepts with personal experiences added a special touch and made the engagement of the college students during the session. She explained the need of authentic knowledge and guidance required to children to help them understand the the process of growing up. The prospective teachers of the college understood that the adoloscent need to be prepared for the physical, mental, psycho-social and emotional changes that take place during this phase of life.

In the Friday Webinar series we had an informative session with Dr. Suman Rani, Assistant Professor at DIET Ghumanhera,SCERT Delhi. She explained the role of a teacher not limited to prepare for teaching-learning process. Instead the teacher should engage the students using classroom mangement techniques like Pairing sharing,two-way communication , building a strong bond with students and many more.She discussed the underlined NEP 2020 strategies for teachers to make the most creative and innovative learning environment in the classroom. The pupil teachers of the college also learned how to become an effective teacher with the help of a good knowledge and experience.The interactive session ended with the Q and A session and the positive feedback by all.

Students of Rawal College of Education had an interactive session with Dr. Suday Narayan Prasad, Assistant Professor in the Department of Elementary Education, University of Delhi. He explained that the colonial conquest led to the fall of the education system in India and contemporary education system in the view of NEP2020 with the help of an interesting presentation which increases the engagement of the students in the topic. They developed their understanding about the social realities in Indian society.The prospective teachers gained the knowledge about the contemporary issues in education with its educational implications in a wider way.

Department of hotel management of Rawal Institute of Management celebrated the festival of lights with mouthwatering street style delicacies. Students of the department served various street style food dishes by setting up live stalls of different cuisines which included Delhi 06, South Indian and Chinese where they served golgappe, tikki, pav bhaji, idli, dosa, sambhar, crispy corn and fried rice.
