Delighted to receive such a warm accolade of "10 Most Hardworking Organizations Of The Year" and for being able to meet and listen to the amazing stories of positive change brought in the society by so many kind people from various organisations,we,the team of Serving Happiness,attended the felicitation ceremony called the "NE Organization Convene 2022",an annual social welfare convergent organized by Wake With Wellness at Kumar Bhaskar Natya Mandir Auditorium,Uzanbazar on 27 December,2022.

What an encouraging and empowering day it was!Our Founder President,Anisha Baro delivered a speech on how and why we started while briefly explaining our objectives in the end.

Our hearts are truly gratified towards Wake With Wellness for inviting and giving us a platform to connect with so many incredible people yesterday.We are resolved to continue to work efficiently in the coming years and give best of our efforts to see the change we need in our society.Your love and respect will inspire us a lot in this journey.

International Men’s Day is celebrated every year on 19 November to honor and appreciate the positive value men bring to their family, society, community, and the world. It includes topics around mental health, toxic masculinity, prevalence of male su***de, promoting men’s health, improving gender relations etc.

For 2022, the International Men's Day theme is 'Helping Men and Boys' to encourage men to educate the values, character and responsibilities of being a man to boys in their lives.

The Six Pillars of men's day are:

promote positive male role models,

To celebrate men’s positive contributions to society,

To focus on men’s health and wellbeing,

To highlight discrimination against men,

To improve gender relations and promote gender equality,

To create a safer, better world.

Also it is high time to recognize and honor the contributions and sacrifices that a man makes for his family and society.

On the occasion of Children's Day, we, the members of Serving Happiness visited Manik Chandra Baruah High School and organised an 'On the Spot Art Competition ' among its students. The programme which was held on a very short notice, started with the lighting of the lamp which was presided over by the honourable Principal of the school. Then, one of our members, Siddhanta , spoke in brief about the significance of this day highlighting the noble purposes of our NGO . The competition then got commenced at 11 A.M . The participants were divided into two separate groups, one included the students of class VI and the other included students of class VII and above. They were given separate themes and were allotted a time period of half an hour to finish their art work. We were impressed by the creative sparks of the students and their eagerness to put their best efforts for the competition. Soon the competition got over and although it was difficult to choose, we awarded the best artist of each group with a gift hamper and wished them all the very best for their future endeavours. Dhritiraj, the content creator of 'Memes Live ' soon joined us and was kind enough to give away his clothing merchandise amongst the students. We were quite happy to see the satisfactory smiles on the faces of the children.We are thankful to the authorities of Manik Chandra Baruah High School for providing us this golden opportunity to organise this event and would hope to collaborate with them on future activities of our NGO .

Special Thanks to RCBPIT, Delhi and Hope Organization for providing us with all the relief materials. We received all the materials on the 1st of August and distributed them on the 7th of August in the area of Sarthebari, Barpeta.
Along with that we also thank The Period Society and Dr. Alamgir for providing us with all the medical and healthcare assistance and making this campaign a success.
With this Phase 2 of the Flood Relief campaign was organised successfully .

After the successful completion of first phase of our flood donation campaign. We've started the second phase of this campaign.Help and support us in the second phase of the campaign too so that we can help as many people as possible.

We are extremely delighted to inform all the donors who have helped us to make the first phase of flood relief possible. Our journey started on the 21st of May 2022 and started collecting funds digitally, with that we could help 150 families with food and clothes and 10 families were provided with monetary help. The 10 members of Serving Happiness Volunteered to serve the affected area of Garukhunda Gao, Kampur, Nogaon. Indeed it would have been impossible without the help of Mission Possible-Hand in Hand from West Bengal, Medlyn, Mediorg, Memeslive and Xomonoi Enajori Sangkritik gusti, so special thanks to them.
We've started the 2nd phase of the flood relief campaign.
Hope we get the maximum support like this time.

As the theme of this year's environment day reads *We only have one earth* , it is our duty to protect and nurture it with a focus on living sustainably in harmony with nature.

Each year on June 3, World Bicycle Day is observed to spread awareness about sustainable transportation that also ensures one's physical well being. The day reminds us of the age-old tradition prevalent in the world. It is a special day meant to be enjoyed by all people regardless of their age, colour or race. As we are in the 21st century, World Bicycle Day is now being associated with promoting a healthy lifestyle for those with Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

In a very unfortunate turn of events, Pragyan, a boarder of MNDP Boys' hostel got seriously injured in a rift that broke out between two hostels in the post election night. His entire jawline broke and several teeths were misplaced. He needs jaw reconstruction surgery immediately and is in requirement of a large amount of money. It's a call for humanity to everyone around to please contribute as much as you can so that we can bring back the smile on Pragyan's face again.

This foundation day was marked by a clothes donation drive in resemblance to the inaugural activity of this organisation. The people involved fabricated this prestigious day worth being engraved. Our special gratitude goes to Snigdha Sharma, Manisha Goswami and Ruth.

Serving Happiness in association with Cottonian Jagaran Mancha conducted an inclusive discussion on LQBTQ rights which was presided over by Swati Bidhan Baruah, Benjamin Daimary and Pratik Permey . The esteemed dignitaries brought to light key aspects of our notions regarding LGBTQ and how we still have a long way to go in this quest for equal rights. They talked about s*x and s*xuality, gender biases and the need to improve people's mindset regarding their community. There were several cultural programmes as well by the students of Cotton University which entertained everyone. Siddhanta Bora, a member of Serving Happiness, released his book 'The Rig Chronicles'
in the presence of these dignitaries. The programme was successful considering the large presence of people present there. This initiative was praised by one and all.

On the 4th of December, a student of Cotton University Jitu Hazarika's father had gone through a severe accident leading to the moulding of some blood clots in his brain. The surgery that will be required to remove these clots is estimated to be cost somewhere around 3 lakhs which is quite a substantial amount of money. Given the constraint of time and financial conditions it is not quite possible for him to accumulate such an amount.
Since time is sparse, anybody wishing to lend a hand in contributing towards the expenses or helping in any way or the other is requested to step forward and grant the much needed help.

চিকিৎসাৰ বাবে তেখেতক যথেষ্ট পৰিমাণৰ অৰ্থৰ প্ৰয়োজন।তলত তেওঁৰ একাউণ্ট details দিয়া হৈছে। আপোনালোকে যিয়ে যেনেকৈ পাৰে সহায় কৰেযেন।

The Healistic Psychologist

The Knowledge Heist is concluded and we were able to collect a sufficient sum for the cause of covid relief.
The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions of 'The Knowledge Heist' has been awarded with the prize money, i.e., 15℅, 10℅, 5℅ of the collected fund respectively. And the rest of the amount collected has been equally donated.
50℅ of the amount collected for donation has been donated to the CM fund for covid relief and the other half has been provided to 'Ethela Maar'. Ethela Maar is a group working for the people on the streets during this tough times by providing them with food packages in varous part of the state.
We are thankful to all the participants and supporters for helping us to make this event a successful one and we hope for you cooperation and support in the future and always.
