Good Morning Everyone 🦋🦋 I'm going to spill the beans once again on how to apply fluoride varnish which is ✴️Extremely easy. ✴️Beneficial for patients ✴️ n a good way to keep the young ones involved. Shd be repeated every 4 months if it's an active case. N in 6 months if there's no new carious lesion detected in past 6months. Has to be done for 2 yrs in total. Can be combined with pit n fissure sealant n fluoridated tooth paste for better results. Post op instructions - ✨ no milk n milk products for 8 hrs atleast. ✨No eating n drinking for 2-3 hrs. ✨Avoid sticky food for 4-6 hours ✨ No brushing and flossing for 4-6 hrs P.S. 🌸Make sure it is applied on all the surfaces of the teeth- permanent as well as deciduous. 3 strokes on each surface as described in video 🌸Ideally it shd be done after treating all the carious teeth but in case a tooth is about to shed n the parent wants to avoid the restoration ITS OK ✅ GIFT 🎁 ur pedo patients a better future n yourself a more successful practice 😍 Patient - Cute little Manya who loves to get her video made N her mom complimented that this is the first time that she has not created a fuss with her dentist 🫣🫣 May be the idea of getting bubbles did the trick 🤔 😉 Rest explanation in the video #educationalpost
