This cute little 7 yrs old girl came to us first time on the day of karwachauth 😊
Today was the second time she visited us n her father said she was adamant to come to us only as she loved our clinic's friendliness n of course the painless class 2 restorations (fillings) 💁♀️💁♀️.
Today we did her anterior extraction 🦷n a canine restoration... n her smile says the rest...

I'm so grateful to god almighty for blessing me with 3rd position in DENTAPP mega contest.
I've won many competitions earlier but this ones close to my heart ❤️
As I had lost most of my old documentation just before this competition started n I had no previous x rays to share but I kept thriving hard to document most of the new cases which was again difficult as one of my attendant was on leave n clicking pictures with 4 hand dentistry is not something that I was used to.
But none the less we made it till here n looking forward to go miles n miles ahead.
I would take this opportunity to thank my hubby Vikas Verma who kept motivating me n always being my first critic... taking care of everything so that I can focus on my work.. secondly to my mom Pramila Verma dad Jagdish Verma Shefali Singh for taking care of my kids covering up for everything for which I couldn't be present.
Most importantly Dr. Sahil Chawla sir n DrChawla Garima ma'am for bringing out the best in me always being by my side for his divine guidance... replying to my most stupid queries as well.. n making me believe that the best version of myself is yet to be explored 🙏🙏

Patient aged 17 yrs came with a complaint of cavity in front teeth
Her teeth were very sensitive 🥺
To begin with caries removal was done followed by air abrasion
Selective etch ✔️
Rigorous rubbing of bond on tooth for 20 secs.
Cure for 10 secs with light cure unit
Filtek flowable placed on exposed dentine n left 5 mins untouched after curing for IDS
APPLIED VERY little empress opaque to block out light else it gives a greyish hue to restoration
Dentine shade A3
Enamel A2
Final outcome A3 😁😁

Good Morning Everyone 🦋🦋
I'm going to spill the beans once again on how to apply fluoride varnish which is
✴️Extremely easy.
✴️Beneficial for patients
✴️ n a good way to keep the young ones involved.
Shd be repeated every 4 months if it's an active case.
N in 6 months if there's no new carious lesion detected in past 6months.
Has to be done for 2 yrs in total.
Can be combined with pit n fissure sealant n fluoridated tooth paste for better results.
Post op instructions -
✨ no milk n milk products for 8 hrs atleast.
✨No eating n drinking for 2-3 hrs.
✨Avoid sticky food for 4-6 hours
✨ No brushing and flossing for 4-6 hrs
P.S. 🌸Make sure it is applied on all the surfaces of the teeth- permanent as well as deciduous.
3 strokes on each surface as described in video
🌸Ideally it shd be done after treating all the carious teeth but in case a tooth is about to shed n the parent wants to avoid the restoration ITS OK ✅
