The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, in collaboration with the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC), is excited to announce a specialized workshop on Prototype Process Design and Development on June 14, 2024, from 11:30 AM onwards. This workshop aims to equip participants with the essential skills and knowledge required to create and develop effective prototypes. Mr. Rajat Kumar Singh, an expert from “VLSI for All,” will cover the complete lifecycle of prototype development, from initial concept to final ex*****on, providing both theoretical insights and practical, hands-on experience.

MBA Department successfully conducted a highly informative Data Analytics Workshop for our MBA I year students. We had the honor of hosting Mr. Rohit Pahawa, Senior Data Scientist from Ducat, as our distinguished speaker, who shared invaluable insights into the world of data analytics.
Special thanks to Dr. Vikram Bali, Director IMSEC, Ghaziabad, and Dr. Meenu Rajeev Singh, HOD MBA, for their unwavering support and guidance in making this event possible. The department of Mechanical Engineering has organized a “Technical Session” on “WATER INJECTION SYSTEM TO RECOVER OIL AND MAINTAIN PRESSURE” on 8th June 2024. The theme of the event was to understand the fundamental operations and industrial applications of “Water injection system”.
Dr. Subhash Mishra, the Program Coordinator welcomed the key speaker and other participants. The eminent speaker was Mr. Alok Kumar. He is currently working in ONGC Company (Mumbai) as a superintendent Engineer in Production section.
He enlightened students and faculty members on “Water injection system” and focused on explain the operations and industrial applications of the aforesaid theme. The students found the interaction very informative and valuable from their career point of view.
More than 20 students were fortunate to get inputs in this buzz topic. Indeed, it was an academic extravaganza. The session got culminated by vote of thanks by Dr.Subhash Mishra.

The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities at IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad, celebrated “ ” on June 5, 2024, with great enthusiasm through the initiative “Green Revolution through Plantation Drive.”

Students from various branches delivered speeches and recited poems to inspire and emphasize the urgent need to protect our environment for the sake of future generations.

IMS Engineering College extends sincere gratitude to AlmaMates Info Tech for organizing an awareness workshop on “Transforming Education using Generative AI” for the students of IMSEC. The workshop began with a formal welcome of esteemed guests from the company, accompanied by a token of respect and remembrance.

The workshop focused on creating awareness about different AI tools available to students that can help them excel academically, such as ChatGPT, GitHub, POP AI, AlphaCode, and DALL-E 2. The session was very interactive, and the trainer answered all queries from the students. Mr. Ashok Singh, Senior Trainer from AlmaMates, guided students on using these tools wisely by efficiently utilizing their own technical and innovative skills.

VIBGYOR-2k24, the annual techno-cultural fest of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, received widespread media coverage for its vibrant and memorable two-day celebration. The fest featured diverse cultural and technical events, including dance performances, face painting, blind coding, Aptifesta, band battles, RAP battles, group singing, and the Mr. and Ms. Vibgyor competition. The major highlight was a captivating performance by Punjabi singer and actor Parmish Verma, which enthralled the audience. Under the esteemed guidance of our Director, Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali, the seamless organization and spectacular events ensured an unforgettable celebration.

Day 2 of VIBGYOR-2k24, the annual techno-cultural fest of IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, continued to captivate attendees with its vibrant activities. The day featured exciting events such as the band battle, RAP battle, group singing, and the highly anticipated Mr. and Ms. Vibgyor competition. The major highlight was the celebrity night, where the famous Punjabi singer and actor Parmish Verma took the stage, delivering an unforgettable performance that enthralled the audience. Following the celebrity night, the energy continued with an exhilarating DJ night, keeping the celebration alive. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of Honorable Treasurer Shri Sanjay Agarwal Ji and Shri Pramod Aggarwal Ji, Executive Council Member of IMS Society. The seamless conclusion of the two-day fest, under the guidance of our Director, Prof. (Dr.) Vikram Bali, was marked by a prize distribution ceremony where he awarded the winners, celebrating their exceptional achievements. The Department of Applied Sciences and Humanities, in conjunction with the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at IMS Engineering College Ghaziabad, orchestrated a Foundational Program designed for first-year B.Tech students on May 9, 2024 (Thursday), from 3:40 PM to 4:30 PM. The session was held at the Seminar Hall in Block A, and the theme revolved around 'Emerging Technologies and an Overview of C++.' Professor Aditya Batra from the Department of CSE shared his expertise and provided invaluable insights. Over 65 students were benefitted from his knowledge during the session. The Question and Answer segment was highly engaging and informative. The event was skillfully moderated by Dr. Vivek Gupta, and the program concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by the event coordinator, Dr. Mohit Arya.
