हमारे विद्यालय, स्टेप अप स्कूल में कक्षा 6 से कक्षा 8 तक के विद्यार्थियों के लिए अंतर कक्षा वाद-विवाद प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई। इस प्रतियोगिता का मुख्य उद्देश्य छात्रों के सार्वजनिक बोलने के कौशल को निखारना और उन्हें अपने विचार और राय व्यक्त करते समय स्पष्ट होना सिखाना था। हमारे छात्रों ने इस प्रतियोगिता में शानदार प्रदर्शन किया। प्रतियोगिता में पक्ष और विपक्ष ने बेहतरीन ढंग से अपने विचारों को प्रस्तुत किया और पुख्ता साक्ष्य के साथ अपनी बातें मजबूती से साबित की। छात्रों की प्रज्वलित भावना और वाक्पटुता ने दर्शकों को मंत्रमुग्ध कर दिया।”

The DPSG Cup held at DPSG International school ,Dasna, witnessed a thrilling display of athleticism on May 10, 2024. The event showcased the talent of young participants from *Step Up school*. Sashakt Sangwan shone by securing second place in the Under 10 category for the 100-meter race, while Aira Maurya impressed with her second-place finish in the Under 12 category for the same race. Arham Khan displayed remarkable speed, clinching third place in the Under 12 category for the 200-meter race. The relay races were equally exhilarating, with Madhav Tyagi, Darsh Jain, Anuj Kumar, and Sashakt Sangwan claiming third place in the Under 10 category, and Aira Singh, Sanvi, Ish*ta, and Jigyasa securing the same position in the Under 12 category. Arnav, Vivaan Vaish, Shaswat, and Naksh Yadav mirrored their peers’ success, grabbing second place in the Under 12 category relay race. Overall, the DPSG Cup was a testament to talented participants’ dedication and skill, showcasing a bright future for athletics in the region.

The mind of a child is a fertile ground for curiosity and discovery.
We at Step Up School believe in an overall development of every child. They should not only be well versed in their school curriculum but should also be prepared to face challenges that are outside their comfort zone. Keeping it in mind, Our school encouraged children to enthusiastically participate in various olympiad competitive exams which would help them to sharpen their skills and showcase their knowledge. Our children participated in various olympiads that were held in the session 2023-24, like- IGKO , IMO, IEO, NCO, NSO and Hindi Olympiad wholeheartedly and brought various laurels to our school. We celebrated their success by awarding them certificates and medals for their hardwork and determination. We are very proud of our achievers.

The students of Step Up School Junior wing Literary Club showcased some enchanting role-plays of Cinderella and Mice Wedding. These talented tots were a delight to watch. Their story telling skills, makeup, costumes were all on point. The audience was totally consumed in the role-plays and left the room with big smiles on their faces. It was a learning experience for these students where they got a platform to showcase their theatrical skills.

*Mobile Phone: Friend or Foe ?*
Although mobile phones have become an integral part of our daily life but they can be harmful for us , specially children, when used excessively. So,to make our students aware about the Pros and Cons of using Mobile phones, a workshop on “Harmful effects of using Mobile phone” was conducted in the school campus for Grade Nursery to V. The session was quite interactive and students enthusiastically gave their inputs in the matter. Towards the end of the session students also took a pledge of not using mobile phones unnecessarily.

Recently, CBSE organized a three-day workshop, the NATIONAL ADOLESCENT SUMMIT on Life Skills, Mental Health, Safety & Wellbeing, in collaboration with Expression India - The Life Skills & National School Mental Health Program. The event took place from 19th to 21st December 2023 at National Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, where four of our students showcased exemplary performances, bringing pride to the Step Up family. This achievement was particularly notable as our students competed with 200 peers from different states of India, excelling in various categories leaving a lasting impression and making mark as an outstanding performers in all the categories.This historic moment is a source of immense pride and joy for our school.

After the exams concluded, grades I to V spent a day filled with joy and camaraderie at ABESIT campus. The students first watched an animated movie in the auditorium, immersing themselves in entertainment. Following that, they relished a delightful picnic in the playground, creating cherished memories outside the confines of the classroom. It was a well-deserved break, fostering a sense of community and bonding among the students.

*कला संगम सांसद सांस्कृतिक समारोह* द्वारा 8 दिसंबर 2023 को गाजियाबाद के गुरुकुल द स्कूल में *सांस्कृतिक प्रतियोगिताओं* का आयोजन किया गया था। जिसमें *स्वरचित कविता गायन* गतिविधि में हमारे विद्यालय की *कक्षा 7 की छात्रा सान्या रॉय ने *द्वितीय स्थान* प्राप्त किया।
इस प्रतियोगिता में चयनित प्रतिभागियों के लिए अंतिम चयन हेतु जनपद स्तर पर डीपीएस जी मेरठ रोड़ गाज़ियाबाद में 13 दिसंबर 2023 को प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया । *जनपद स्तर* पर भी *सान्या रॉय ने पुनः द्वितीय स्थान* प्राप्त कर विद्यालय का नाम गौरवान्वित किया।
