Paper Boat Collective, Goa invites you to the first group exhibit by Mudskippers Goa, SPCES: Within and Beyond.

Mudskippers Goa is a collective of ceramic artists across ages, exploring interpersonal spaces with experimental mediums. It is a community born out of a need to have shared resources, access to learning together and cultivate peer support. Other than providing pottery courses to beginners as well as intermediate potters it also offers space to work, material support and mentorship.

This show invites the audience to explore their inner and imagined worlds in a tangible form.

"Our brand ‘Dutta Ratul Calcutta’ was initiated amidst the pandemic in the year 2020. We wanted our brand to link Bangladesh and India through the threads of Jamdani. We try to develop our own motifs and design and create them through our cluster of weavers. Our attempt is to make Jamdani regular wear- contemporize and modernize it through our selection of colors, designs, choice of fabrics, and executions."

"Yuti's handlooms started 9 years ago with 2-3 weavers at Phulia cluster and worked only in cotton sarees. Gradually our family grew with one more cluster in Burdwan.
