Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a “kon Banega Smart Lloydian” on April 5, 2024 for BBA and B.Com students in Auditorium.at UG Management Department, Campus 2

The event aimed to engage students in a fun and intellectually stimulating competition, inspired by the popular TV show "Kaun Banega Crorepati," adapted to the college environment. The event comprised three rounds, each brimming with excitement and suspense, and featured a dazzling dance performance by Twinkle Gupta, adding an extra layer of entertainment to the proceedings. The objective of “kon Banega Smart Lloydian” is to provide an engaging and intellectually stimulating activity, Foster a Competitive Spirit, Enhance General Knowledge, Encourage Collaboration and Team Spirit, and Provide a Memorable Friday Funday Experience for students.

Overall, the objective of "Kon Banega Smart Lloydian" was to offer students an opportunity to engage in a fun and challenging activity that would not only entertain them but also stimulate their minds and foster a sense of camaraderie and competition within the college community.

On March 20, 2024 the TechGenius Club at Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a “Digital Desk” event for BBA & B.Com students. The objective of the “𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐤” event is organised by the TechGenius Club to help students enrich their learning experience, and emerge as well-rounded individuals equipped to thrive in the ever-evolving field of technology. To embark on a journey filled with innovation, creativity, and technology.the event celebrated the power of technology to transform lives and propel us towards a brighter future. The IT Fest provides a platform for aspiring technocrats, innovators, and enthusiasts to showcase their talents, exchange ideas, and inspire one another. Throughout the day, the event had an exciting lineup of activities and competitions tailored to challenge your skills, ignite your imagination, and push the boundaries. It began with exciting rounds.

Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a special workshop on “𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐔𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐯𝐚”. The resource person was Ms. Pooja Sharma, Lloyd Business School.
The workshop aimed to equip BBA & B.Com second & final year students with Graphic Design using Canva which focuses on how Canva has democratized graphic design, empowering individuals and organizations to create visually stunning content with ease.

On March 18, 2024, Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a guest lecture on financial empowerment for BBA & B.Com second and third year students. Mr. Chandresh Gupta aimed to empower students with the knowledge and skills necessary to make informed financial decisions, achieve their financial goals, and build a secure financial future. Mr. Chandresh Gupta emphasized the importance of setting clear financial objectives and developing a comprehensive plan to attain them. An investor awareness program was conducted to educate students about the basics of investing. Mr. Gupta discussed the principles of risk management, diversification, and the significance of making well-informed investment decisions. The lecture delved into effective money management techniques, including budgeting, saving, and prudent spending habits. He provided practical tips on managing finances efficiently to achieve financial independence.

On March 11, 2024, Lloyd Group of Institutions, Campus II organised a special workshop on Getting Industry Ready-Progressive Pathway Series-1, "The Art of Crafting a Winning Resume". The resource person was Ms. Ina Singh, Soft Skill Trainer, Lloyd Business School.

The workshop aimed to equip BBA & B.Com final year students with the "Getting Industry Ready-Progressive Pathway Series-1" which focuses on essential skills for success in the professional world, with a primary focus on crafting an impactful resume. This report will delve into the importance of a well-crafted resume, its purpose, different types, key sections, design and formatting tips, the role of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and steps to create an effective resume.

Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a special workshop on “Mastering Personalized Correspondence using Mail Merge” on 6th March, 2024. The resource person was Mr. Mohit Agrawal, Associate Professor IT & Analytics, Lloyd Business School. The workshop aimed to equip BBA & B.Com students with practical skills in using Mail Merge for personalized correspondence. Through hands-on training and discussions, students were expected to gain proficiency in setting up Mail Merge documents, customizing content for individual recipients, incorporating dynamic fields, and efficiently generating bulk communications.

On March 5, 2024, the Lloyd Group of Institutions hosted an insightful Pre -Placement Talk for BBA final year students. The event was graced by the presence of esteemed personality, Mr. Sarathi Gowda, Director, CTLD, Lloyd Group of Institutions. The occasion commenced with an engaging Pre - Placement Talk, where Mr. Gowda shared valuable insights and advice on career prospects, industry trends, and the essential skills required in today's competitive job market. On February 28, 2024 the Speech Weavers Committee at Lloyd Group of Institutions organised “Super Spellersz” – an activity focused on creativity, learning and boosting confidence among participants. This activity was organised for BBA and B.Com students at Campus 2, Seminar Hall.
There were three rounds in the activity. The first round was Google Form round, second round was Pronunciation round and third round was Make your way out. Every participant had fun and enjoyed learning.

On February 23, 2024, Lloyd Group of Institutions organised a Balloon Bonanza – Friday Fun Day activity focused on creativity, teamwork, and communication among participants. This activity was organised for BBA and B. Com students at the Management Department, Campus II, Ground.
There were two activities: Individual Race and Team Bonanza.
Each participant who took part in the Individual and Team Bonanza did so with great fervour and excitement. They enjoyed themselves while simultaneously being competitive. Dr. Shilpi Sarna, Head of UG Management Programmes, and faculty members congratulated and inspired the winners by presenting them with prizes.
