Ahead of the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will dedicate Kartarpur Corridor to the nation today. It links the Dera Baba Nanak shrine in Punjab's Gurdaspur district with the Kartarpur Sahib Gurdwara in Pakistan. A proud moment for India.
Founded in 1504 AD, Kartarpur means "Place of God". Irrespective of religion or caste, all people lived together here. Now, visit the holy shrine directly with Kartarpur Corridor.
First “Jattha” (Batch) would go on 9th Nov 2019.
Located on the right bank of River Ravi, Kartarpur represents the first 'Sikh Commune'. The holy shrine would be joined with Dera Baba Nanak, located on the left bank of the river with Kartarpur Corridor for Indian pilgrims facilitating a smooth and easy passage.
India has constructed a four-lane highway in Dera Baba Nanak in Gurdaspur district, Punjab connecting the 'zero point' for a smooth journey to Kartarpur.

The Kartarpur Corridor will have adequate immigration & customs clearance facilities for a smooth movement of approximately 5,000 pilgrims per day.
