Nirula’s, the time when they had their outlet in Chanakyapuri, Delhi, was my family’s favourite one stop in that area. I was quite young so I have faint memories of that place but I remember the cozy vibe, the huge sitting area inside and the tiny little me scooping away my Hot Chocolate Fudge with extra nuts, my sister trying to take a bit from mine and my parents enjoying their favourite Banana Split. Nirula’s is more of a warm feeling and a cozy childhood memory. My father enjoys sharing with us his experience of Nirula’s when it had started in his college days in the 80’s and it was the rage. Forty years and plus, Signature 21 Love and Pineapple Soda remain his absolute favourites. The Saxena family also loves Nirula's Pizza. It tastes fresh and gives a super homely vibe.

Back in the 90’s, if anyone had The Nirula’s Stamp on their report card, they would earn themselves a free HCF or ice cream sundae. It was an enthusiastic initiative and a fantastic marketing campaign! If I dig into those archives of mine, I’m pretty sure I’ll find those reports with the Nirula’s stamp!

We’ve been going to Nirula’s for years now and that family tradition shall continue for years to come.
