In some artworks, use of geometry is intentional. It is challenging and fun to construct a piece with mostly geometric shapes... circles, semicircles, triangles, waves and squares.
It gives a crisp and modern quality to an artwork while use of colors create drama.
Swipe to see some of my intuitive original pieces with geometrical influences - done in oils, Acrylic and watercolor. Medium is no bar! They were so much fun to do.
I would love to hear which one is your favorite!!

"Jonathan L Seagull "
8x8" Acrylic on canvas
When I was young, much of my philosophy was inspired by Jonathan Livingston Seagull, a protagonist In Richard Bach's amazing book by the same name.
When I was asked by my special need daughter's school to create something for their parent's event - it seemed apt for me to go back to my childhood inspiration. Jonathan Livingston Seagull broke all the rules that seagulls were meant to live by and soared to the heights - just because he believed he needed to try - exactly like our very special children.
I am sure it will end up in a very special home and I do hope they enjoy having it.
Clayworks in Progress!
In my excitement to play with dirt, I ordered the wrong kind. Terracotta is grainier and chunkier than the one I get to work with in the studio. But it doesn't hurt to practice with it. Here are a few of the experiments so far.
When in doubt, paint what you are obsessed with!
After a longer than planned summer break, here is me resuming my journey with 08/99 and 09/99. SWIPE TO SEE 2ND ONE.
I am obsessed with history of clay and pottery right now, and has always been fun for me.
What do you think about these two!? Let me know in comments.
03/99 - "Walk through the Cemetary"
5" x 5"
Acrylic on paper
Hans Christian Andersen, the author of many beloved fairy tales, has his final resting place in Copenhagen. His grave attracts many tourists. I took this photo while walking through this famous cemetery.
Swipe right for the reference photo that I took.

VICTORIAN FLORALS have a charm that remains timeless. This is an older oil painting that I had made while my training years. Back then, I’m sure it was gifted to a friend although I cant be sure anymore.
Very tempted to recreate this style. The bucket list keeps growing… lol 😂.
Let me know your thoughts about this style and this color palette!!.
Limited Palette Landscapes!!.
Today, I’d like to share four of my intuitive landscapes. First two are dual tone. Other two is done with usual tropical landscape palettes. It is great to experiment with palettes and still get the details and depth.
Which do you prefer - dual tone ones or colourful ones?? Let me know in comments….
