Mock Drill was conducted at MKCG Medical College & Hospital on 10/02/2022 for for fire-fighting & rescue preparedness and on-site training of Fire Service personnel under the guidance of DFO, Berhampur Circle.
Odisha Fire Service has deployed total 4 nos. indigenously built Aerial Ladder Platforms in the state, proactively supporting the Make-In-India vision of Hon'ble PM towards !
CFEES (Centre for Fire, Explosives & Environment Safety), a DRDO Lab and Ministry of Defense department is using LIFTMAK Hydraulic Aerial Ladder Platform, supplied in Y '2018.
CFEES functions as the repository of expertise in the fields of Fire Science and Engineering, Explosive Safety & Environmental Safety and is an advisory & regulatory body of Govt. of India in the said fields.

Aerial ESCAPE CHUTE (spiral type) installed on LIFTMAK Hydraulic Aerial Ladder Platforms - Demonstration & Training in progress !
The Mobile Escape Chute can accelerate the evacuation process during emergency use of ALP and allows people to evacuate in a safe and speedy manner. It can be used in varying heights - the outer flame retardant layer is equipped with zippers to allow evacuation within any height. The installation frame is dual use type for deployment on ALP as well directly on a building (used for windows).
