Bharti Foundation, in collaboration with the Education Department of Meghalaya, recently organized the district level Spell Wizard and Math Wizard Contest 2023-24 at the District School Education Officer Conference Hall Nongpoh.
This competition saw 96 talented students from Umling, Umsning, Jirang, and Bhoirymbong Blocks battle it out for the winning position!
Smt. Paidalyne Nonglait (DSEO, Ri-Bhoi), along with the BMC of Umling Block Shri. Pankaj Kumar Yadav, graced the event with their presence.
The atmosphere buzzed with excitement as the young minds displayed their spelling and mathematical skills. We are proud that 18 students from 5 of our partner government schools emerged victorious out of the 16 participating schools !
The DSEO expressed her appreciation for Bharti Foundation's ongoing commitment to organizing these impactful events that provide a platform for children to showcase their talents and develop their potential.

Bharti Foundation's Quality Support Program in Rajasthan has been transforming education since 2013! Focused on 21st-century skills, the program works around the core philosophy of making schools engaging and happy spaces by enabling students acquire leadership, communication and collaboration leading to their holistic development. Satya Bharti School recently organized its annual festival, Rang Tarang, with great fervor.
The festival was a vibrant celebration of creativity and talent, with students showcasing their skills in various art forms and English quiz.
The highlight of the festival was the invitation of alumni as judges of the competitions. The alumni shared their inspirational stories with the school students, motivating them to pursue their dreams and achieve excellence in life.
Bharti Foundation, through its flagship program Satya Bharti Schools, is committed to the holistic development of students in rural India. Over 10000 students of Quality Support Program (QSP) partner government schools from 12 states/ UTs took part in the Constitution Day quiz recently organized by Bharti Foundation. Constitution Day is celebrated to mark the adoption of the Indian Constitution in 1949.
Kudos to the active participation by the students, this showcases the impact of QSP intervention in fostering constitutional values among students.
Bharti Foundation and District Institute of Education and Training (DIET)-Dumka, Jharkhand joined hands for a Teaching Learning Material (TLM) Mela on Nov 28, 2023. 110 teachers from 80 schools in Dumka participated in this Mela. The Foundation provided training to teachers from partner government schools under Quality Support Program on enriching the learning environment through innovative TLMs. 12 educators received Educational Rockstar Achievers (ERA) Awards for outstanding contributions.
Bharti Foundation is proud to host the Annual Athletic Meet for Senior and Junior Boys and Girls. This prestigious event is organized by the Ludhiana Sahodaya Schools Complex, a collective of CBSE-affiliated schools in the district. Scheduled from November 21 to 23, the meet is conducted at Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary School in Sherpur Kalan, Ludhiana.
This event is featuring a range of Track and Field events, showcasing the athletic prowess of students from 34 distinguished CBSE schools across the district. It's a grand opportunity for young athletes to demonstrate their skills, compete with their peers, and embrace the spirit of sportsmanship.
We extend our best wishes to all the participating students. May this athletic meet be a memorable experience filled with excitement, fair play, and exemplary performances.
Around 40 students from two Quality Support Program (QSP) partner government schools, Nomiwell Memorial UPS and Oasis English UPS participated in 10-days Internship Program supported by Bharti Foundation in Meghalaya. The internship took place at Rani Motors, the Head Office of Maruti Suzuki in Meghalaya, situated in Nongpoh Ri-Bhoi district.
During this period the students gained hands-on experience and practical knowledge about the operations and procedures within an automobile showroom. The program enabled them to understand various departments and their functions, including customer relationship management, sales, front desk office management, and workshop operations.
This internship not only equipped the students with practical knowledge but also provided them with insights into potential career paths within the automotive industry.

Bharti Foundation is transforming rural education in Punjab
Bharti Foundation kick started its 'Satya Bharti School Program' in 2006 in Punjab with a mission to provide FREE quality education to students in Ludhiana, Sangrur, and Amritsar districts.
Once the Satya Bharti Schools were established, the Foundation partnered with the Punjab government to support 105 government schools through its Quality Support Program.
The program works in specific areas to make government schools vibrant centers of learning.
As on September 2023 there are 86 Satya Bharti Schools in Punjab, 22455 students, 776 teachers and 50.5% girl students

Making Education Accessible & Quality-driven in Rural Uttar Pradesh
Since 2007, Bharti Foundation has been working towards providing quality education in the rural areas of Uttar Pradesh. Our Satya Bharti Schools in Bichola, Farrukhabad, and Shahjahanpur is supporting over 2000 children from underprivileged backgrounds including 59% girls.
Our schools boast well-ventilated classrooms, modern libraries, science labs, and outdoor facilities for to provide holistic growth to all our students.
Child safety is our priority so each school is equipped with CCTV cameras ensuring a secure environment. Together, we're nurturing bright futures in the heart of rural India!

The School Excellence Training Programme (SEP) by Bharti Foundation has achieved new heights! This training program ran from October to November 2023, empowering school leaders from Army Goodwill schools across Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh Union Territories.
The Army Goodwill Schools are a system of schools that provide quality education in Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh, India, and are operated by the Indian Army. 26 School Heads & Coordinators attended in person, while 11 schools from Leh, Kargil, Rajouri, and Poonch joined virtually.
Primary objective of this program was to equip school leaders to transform schools into centers of excellence, benefiting teachers, students, and the community.

Bharti Foundation is Inspiring Change through Education in Haryana
In 2008, the philanthropic arm of Bharti Enterprise, Bharti Foundation started a journey of transformation in Haryana by offering free quality education to underprivileged children, especially focusing on empowering the girl child.
Bharti Foundation sowed the seeds of change in Budha Khera, Kaithal district.
Now this initiative has bloomed into 38 Satya Bharti Schools across Haryana!

Club Conclave: A Glimpse into the Future of Innovation
Bharti Foundation supported Club Conclave involving club members from four partner government schools in Kamrup, Assam. The conclave was led by Mr. Bhavesh Das, a renowned innovator from Assam, and was attended by 25 students and mentor teachers from these schools.
The objectives of the conclave were to encourage innovative thinking in daily life, foster teamwork and collective brainstorming, share best practices and explore no-cost/low-cost innovation projects such as automated garden watering machine, earthquake alarm, multipurpose wheel chair for patients, electricity generation through friction and project - free energy.
The interactive session ignited fresh ideas, addressed challenges, and set a roadmap for the next two months. Each school has committed to complete two innovation projects, born out of these discussions and collaborations.

At Satya Bharti Schools we ensure child safety through collaboration with students, parents, teachers, communities, and law enforcement agencies.
We recently conducted an awareness campaign on Child Protection and Anti-bullying, teaching our senior students how to prevent and report abuse or harassment.
On the occasion Mrs. Yugesh Kumari, District Child Protection Officer visited Satya Bharti Adarsh Senior Secondary School Fattubhila and interacted with our students.
She encouraged students to express their creativity and opinions through a Poster Making Competition.
Selected entries will be showcased at the District Administrative Office to raise awareness about Child Protection and Anti-bullying.

We're thrilled to share that 16 girl students from our Quality Support Program partner government school, GSSS Kandhwala Amarkot, Abohar (Punjab), have successfully completed internship at Punjab Gramin Bank, Kandhwala Amarkot.
During this internship, our students had a chance to learn about workings of the organization, understand the structure of the banking system, explore networking, learn about the various banking services available for customers and more!
This experience has provided them with invaluable practical knowledge, essential skills, and a glimpse into organizational work etiquette’s.

Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) expanded the scope of MoU with Bharti Foundation and further strengthened their commitment to provide quality education for underprivileged children in rural India.
Under this partnership, SMBC will help set up language labs, digital classrooms, Interactive panel classrooms, provide IT equipment and water purification solutions in Satya Bharti Schools.

Enhancing Digital Vigilance: Cyber Awareness Session Empowers Students
Sumit Bhargava from Airtel Centre in Gurgaon, recently led a hands-on cybersecurity awareness session for students at Gcoed Senior Sec. School, Sec - 6, RK Puram (New Delhi) - a partner school under Bharti Foundation's Quality Support Program.
In recognition of National Cyber Security Awareness Month, the students were made aware about responsible online conduct, scope of cyber threats, and strategies to combat cybercrime. The students actively engaged in the session, gaining valuable insights not only into safeguarding themselves online but also about potential career opportunities in the field of cybersecurity.

35 students including 14 girls from GUMS Patratu, Ranchi (our partner school under Quality Support Program) have successfully completed their 7-day internship at the Gram Panchayat office, Uruguttu!
During this enlightening journey, they delved into the workings of this organization, learning about public services, Aadhaar card processing, social welfare schemes, healthcare, financial & education services, and numerous B2C services offered to the local community members.
They also gained insights into the hierarchical structure and the roles and responsibilities of PRI members and CSC employees.

Meet Gurpreet Singh Ghuman, a true symbol of dedication and success at Satya Bharti Adarsh Sr. Sec. School in Jhaneri. Since joining in April 2021, Gurpreet has rapidly risen in the world of sports psychology and athletics. Last August, he made a significant contribution to the Indian Archery team at the World Youth Archery Championship in Wroclaw, Poland, leading them to an outstanding performance on the international stage.

Kartik, a young innovator from Haryana's Jhajjar district and an alumnus of Satya Bharti School in Sunderhati, Jhajjar, has developed an indigenous iteration of Chat GPT called "Raghurai." The 14 years old, Kartik programmed Raghurai to respond to inquiries in 67 languages. This remarkable chatbot has garnered attention for its advanced capabilities, providing the latest and most accurate information on a wide range of topics. Kartik's inspiration for creating Raghurai came after a challenge from Sam Altman, the founder of Chat GPT, during his visit to India.

Skill India Mission by GOI is committed to creating an eco-system that builds industry aligned skills to make the young people of our country gainfully employed. It was a great opportunity for our CEO Mamta Saikia to be a part of the FICCI's 14th Global Skills Summit - Building Skills, Empowering Youth, Creating Future. As the moderator of the expert panel on 'Education & Skills: Pillars of Making India the Skill Capital of the World', she ensured a highly participatory panel discussion leading to learnings and practice sharing by the experts.
She also shared the pre-vocational and vocational programs for the students of Bharti Foundation's Satya Bharti Schools, as envisioned in the NEP. Our Alumni are taking up employment in the Defence services, in government and private jobs, are becoming teachers and starting their own small businesses.
A Health Check-Up camp was organized for our students at Satya Bharti School, Bhojpur, UP. Facilitated by the dedicated medical team from CHC Katra and supervised by experienced doctors, the initiative aimed to ensure the well-being of every young learner.
A comprehensive First Aid Training session was also conducted for teachers, head teachers, and staffs to ensure that the school's team is equipped to handle medical emergencies, prioritizing the safety of its students.
