The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. To enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in Effective teaching St. Angel’s School organised workshop for the teachers.
The workshop was conducted by Mridul Jain
an Educator, Psychologist and life coach. She covered topics such as The NEP and Effective Teaching methodologies which are important to enhance creativity and logical thinking through an emphasis on critical thinking, experiential thinking, interdisciplinary approaches, competency based assessments, integration of arts and other vocational subjects, all with a reduced academic curriculum.
The workshop included interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities.
Teachers gained a deeper understanding of Teaching methodologies.
Teachers learned effective strategies for Planning. They developed a network of peers and resources for future collaboration.
Teachers reported increased confidence in their ability to teach and make child centered classroom.
Teachers planned to implement new strategies and techniques in their classrooms.
They expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn and grow professionally.
The workshop was a valuable professional development opportunity for teachers, enhancing their knowledge and skills.The workshop fostered a collaborative environment, allowing teachers to learn from each other and develop a network of peers and resources.

To raise awareness about malaria, its causes, symptoms, and prevention, and to promote global efforts to combat the disease special assembly was conducted on "World Malaria Day" in St. Angel's School. Wonderful speech was delivered by the student showcasing facts and statistics about malaria.
Poem recitation was done by the student conveying the message of unity and collective action against malaria.
General questions were asked by the students to spread the awareness .

An inter-house competition was organized on the theme of 'World Earth Day' during the house period. They celebrated Earth Day to raise awareness about the importance of our planet and to express gratitude to nature for all its bounties.

Reflecting the Earth Day theme, our students created creative boards showcasing green technologies and innovative ideas that can help restore the world's ecosystems. The results were as follows: Vivekananda House secured first position, Dayanand House secured second position, while Gurunanak and Kabir houses secured third position.

Today, St. Angel's School in Gurugram hosted its annual investiture ceremony for the academic session 2024-25. The esteemed event was graced by Mr. Manoj Verma, SHO of Sector-40, Gurugram, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.

The ceremony commenced with the dignitaries participating in the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.

The event was marked by captivating performances by the students, including a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana, a warm welcome song, serene yoga demonstrations, harmonious group singing, lively folk dances, and a spectacular pyramid formation. Adding to the excitement was a special song performance by the superstar of St. Angel's School, who clinched victory on the popular show "Taare Zameen Par," aired on Star Plus.

Inspirational speeches were delivered by the sports captain, head boy, and head girl, encouraging their peers to strive for excellence in all endeavors.Mrs Khyati Arya (HM)also addressed the gathering by her encouraging words.

In a symbolic gesture of leadership and responsibility, each council member was presented with their respective badges and sashes, signifying their roles and duties for the upcoming academic year.

The assembly was based on highlighting the religious significance of each day of Navratri- a nine-day Hindu festival, woven into a beautiful concept covering the mythological stories associated with each goddess of nine days of Navratri. Everyone prayed and chanted bhajans in front of the idol and asked blessings to protect them from darkness.

To commemorate Baisakhi festival, a special assembly was conducted by the students of St. Angels School. The assembly started with the morning prayer. Thereafter young performers sang a song that was well synchronized. Students also presented Bhangra with great delight manifesting the vibes of prosperity. It was a treat to see the students performing Bhangra dressed in traditional vibrant Punjabi attire.
