To commemorate this occasion, St. Angel's School, Sector - 45, Gurugram, organized a celebration for tiny tots where students were enlightened about the significance and health benefits of laughter, its mood-lifting effects, and its transformative impact on our surroundings. Afterwards, they followed the teacher's guidance to create cheerful smiles.

The students from St. Angel's School, Gurugram took part in an Olympiad competition, where they demonstrated their skills and knowledge. As a result of their performance, they secured various rankings or positions, indicating their success relative to other participants. To recognize their achievements, they were presented with medals and certificates as tokens of appreciation and acknowledgment of their hard work and dedication.

"Laughing is, and will always be the best form of therapy". World Laughter Day is celebrated on the first Sunday of May every year to spread happiness in the whole world. The celebration of World Laughter Day is a positive manifestation for world peace and is intended to build up a global consciousness of brotherhood and friendship through laughter. To mark this day St. Angel's School , Sector -45, Gurugram organised a special assembly in which students were briefed about the significance and health benefit of laughter, how it makes us feel good and how it changes everything around us.

St. Angel's School, Gurugram, held a special assembly to celebrate Labour Day and honor the invaluable contributions of our support staff. The assembly was designed to recognize the hard work and dedication of the people who ensure our school runs smoothly every day. It was a heartwarming event filled with gratitude and appreciation.

Additionally, the students participated in a role-play activity where they came dressed as various community helpers and spoke a few lines outlining their duties. This activity provided students with a deeper understanding of the responsibilities and skills required in each role.

To enhance teachers' knowledge and skills in Effective teaching St. Angel’s School organised workshop for the teachers.
The workshop was conducted by Mridul Jain
an Educator, Psychologist and life coach. She covered topics such as The NEP and Effective Teaching methodologies which are important to enhance creativity and logical thinking through an emphasis on critical thinking, experiential thinking, interdisciplinary approaches, competency based assessments, integration of arts and other vocational subjects, all with a reduced academic curriculum.
The workshop included interactive sessions, group discussions, and hands-on activities.
Teachers gained a deeper understanding of Teaching methodologies.
Teachers learned effective strategies for Planning. They developed a network of peers and resources for future collaboration.
Teachers reported increased confidence in their ability to teach and make child centered classroom.
Teachers planned to implement new strategies and techniques in their classrooms.
They expressed appreciation for the opportunity to learn and grow professionally.
The workshop was a valuable professional development opportunity for teachers, enhancing their knowledge and skills.The workshop fostered a collaborative environment, allowing teachers to learn from each other and develop a network of peers and resources.

St. Angel’s School recently hosted its inaugural Parent-Teacher Meeting for the session for classes Pre-Primary to Grade-10, focusing on various aspects such as uniform regulations, school timings, and the importance of daily diary checks. The event fostered an open dialogue between parents and teachers, creating a conducive environment for interaction and collaboration.Moreover, the meeting provided an opportunity for teachers to discuss exciting new programs including Robotics and Language Learning Programs (LLP), aimed at enhancing students' communication skills. (Head mistress) Ms.Khyati Arya has further emphasized the importance of such initiatives in nurturing well-rounded individuals.

In a bid to nurture a greener tomorrow and instill a sense of environmental stewardship among its students, St Angel’s School, Gurugram recently organized a Plantation Drive and Sewa Activity for students from classes 9 to 12.

Under the azure sky, the campus buzzed with enthusiasm as students eagerly gathered to partake in this noble endeavor. Armed with saplings of various species, they embarked on a journey to breathe life into the earth and sow the seeds of change. With shovels in hand and determination in their hearts, the students meticulously planted each sapling, fostering a newfound connection with nature with every dig of the soil. The Sewa Activity added another dimension to the event, underscoring the importance of selfless service and community engagement. Whether it was tending to the garden beds or organizing recycling initiatives, students embraced the spirit of Sewa wholeheartedly, embodying the school's ethos of holistic education.

To raise awareness about malaria, its causes, symptoms, and prevention, and to promote global efforts to combat the disease special assembly was conducted on "World Malaria Day" in St. Angel's School. Wonderful speech was delivered by the student showcasing facts and statistics about malaria.
Poem recitation was done by the student conveying the message of unity and collective action against malaria.
General questions were asked by the students to spread the awareness .

Ti**le, a seventh-grade student, has won the top spot in an open boxing competition, earning praise from our Head of School, Ms. Khyati Arya, and our committed sports instructor. In addition to the recognition, she received a medal and certificate for her exceptional performance. Congratulations to our skilled boxer!

Today marked the commencement of robotics classes at St. Angel’s School , Gurgaon, catering to students from grades 1 to 10. The inaugural session witnessed enthusiastic participation from students who eagerly absorbed new knowledge and skills. Their keen interest in robotics bodes well for an engaging and productive learning journey ahead.

To promote creativity and self-expression among students, a Poster Making activity was organized on Saturday, April 20th, 2023. The activity took place in the classroom, where students were given the theme 'World Earth Day' and asked to create posters raising awareness about the importance of protecting our planet. Equipped with various materials such as poster paper, markers, colored pencils, scissors, and glue, students enthusiastically participated in the activity, showcasing their creativity and brainstorming innovative ideas and designs.

Students demonstrated a solid understanding of the theme by incorporating relevant images and slogans into their posters. The use of colors, imagery, and layout was impressive, resulting in visually appealing posters. Furthermore, the posters effectively conveyed the message of environmental conservation, showcasing students' ability to create informative and engaging content.

Earth citizens have minds and hearts that recognize the Earth as the foundation for everything they do.
An inter-house competition was organized on the theme of 'World Earth Day' during the house period. They celebrated Earth Day to raise awareness about the importance of our planet and to express gratitude to nature for all its bounties.

Reflecting the Earth Day theme, our students created creative boards showcasing green technologies and innovative ideas that can help restore the world's ecosystems. The results were as follows: Vivekananda House secured first position, Dayanand House secured second position, while Gurunanak and Kabir houses secured third position.

Today, St. Angel's School in Gurugram hosted its annual investiture ceremony for the academic session 2024-25. The esteemed event was graced by Mr. Manoj Verma, SHO of Sector-40, Gurugram, who served as the Chief Guest for the occasion.

The ceremony commenced with the dignitaries participating in the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom.

The event was marked by captivating performances by the students, including a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana, a warm welcome song, serene yoga demonstrations, harmonious group singing, lively folk dances, and a spectacular pyramid formation. Adding to the excitement was a special song performance by the superstar of St. Angel's School, who clinched victory on the popular show "Taare Zameen Par," aired on Star Plus.

Inspirational speeches were delivered by the sports captain, head boy, and head girl, encouraging their peers to strive for excellence in all endeavors.Mrs Khyati Arya (HM)also addressed the gathering by her encouraging words.

In a symbolic gesture of leadership and responsibility, each council member was presented with their respective badges and sashes, signifying their roles and duties for the upcoming academic year.

The students presented speech and thought . A quiz competition tested students' knowledge about World Heritage Sites. The World Heritage Day assembly was a resounding success, inspiring students to appreciate and respect the rich cultural and natural heritage of our world. The event fostered a sense of responsibility among students to preserve our collective heritage for future generations.

The festival of Ram Navami commemorates the birth of Lord Rama's birth, who is considered a symbol of truth and righteousness. He is hailed for his dharma, good conduct, and virtues. The festival celebrates the times of Lord Rama and the victory of good over evil. With this refreshing thought students of St. Angel’s organized special assembly on the occasion of Ram Navami.
The assembly was based on highlighting the religious significance of each day of Navratri- a nine-day Hindu festival, woven into a beautiful concept covering the mythological stories associated with each goddess of nine days of Navratri. Everyone prayed and chanted bhajans in front of the idol and asked blessings to protect them from darkness.

World Art Day is celebrated on April 15th to promote the development of various forms of art, including painting, sculpture, dance, theatre, and film. It recognizes the importance of artists' work and celebrates the diversity of art and its role in sustainable development. Considering the significance of art, St. Angel’s School organized a World Art competition. The purpose of the celebration of Art Day was to highlight our students' creative ambitions and give them a chance to showcase their hard work and inspiration. Students wholeheartedly participated in the competition and created beautiful drawings and paintings. It was a treat to witness the colorful world of imagination brought to life by the students.

The festival of Baisakhi marks the onset of a new season. It is a time to reap crops and therefore, an occasion for celebration.
To commemorate Baisakhi festival, a special assembly was conducted by the students of St. Angels School. The assembly started with the morning prayer. Thereafter young performers sang a song that was well synchronized. Students also presented Bhangra with great delight manifesting the vibes of prosperity. It was a treat to see the students performing Bhangra dressed in traditional vibrant Punjabi attire. The assembly was a spontaneous example of teamwork by the students and teachers, where children got an opportunity to showcase their talent on stage.

A special assembly was presented by the students of St. Angels School to signify the importance of Eid. The assembly started with beautiful thought which highlighted the importance of the power of faith. It was followed by an informative speech. General questions were asked to raise the awareness of culture and festival. The assembly was concluded through the message that "May this Eid-ul-Fitr bring lots of joy, love, success and prosperity to everyone's life".

Hawan is a powerful way to get blessings of Goddess Durga. Keeping the thought in mind St.Angel’s School organised hawan to seek blessings of the almighty. The event was graced by the headmistress Mrs Khyati Arya, the coordinators and the teachers. It is said that Hawan during Navratri will bring many blessings ,spiritual development, and abundance of positive energy. Prayers and bhajan were offered on this special occasion. Prashad was distributed among Children. Honourable headmistress also gave the message to everyone to channalize their energy and spread positivity in any circumstances of their life.

A seventh-grade student,Ti**le has emerged victorious, securing the first position in an open boxing tournament. Our Head of School, Ms. Khyati Arya, and our dedicated sports instructor took pride in felicitating the remarkable achievement. Alongside the honor, she was also awarded a well-deserved medal for her outstanding performance. Congratulations to our talented boxer!

“The best way to predict the future is to create it”. Today’s assembly of St Angel's started with this wonderful thought. Presenting various facts related to birds and animals students provided a great knowledge on the occasion of National Zoo Lovers Day. This special day was created in 1982 as a way to recognize the important role that zoos play in preserving and protecting endangered species, teaching conservation lessons, and bringing people closer to nature. It was an informative assembly conducted in well organized manner.

It was a day full of fun activities and games. Witnessing an enthusiastic response and participation of the children,as today’s assembly in our school was organised to refresh the minds and bodies of the students. Children enjoyed a lot and participated in the activities and got ready to welcome the new week.

St. Angel's School, Gurugram observed World Health Day with enthusiasm, emphasizing the significance of good health among its students. They focused on promoting nutritious eating habits, encouraging the consumption of fruits, vegetables, and wholesome foods. Physical activities like Yoga, Zumba Dancing, and Aerobics were highlighted to promote fitness and active lifestyle.

Students of St Angel's School presented an insightful assembly on World Health Day emphasising on the need to be physically,mentally and emotionally healthy. Vibrant posters were shown to describe the importance of healthy lifestyle. The message of the assembly was beautifully menisfested through speech and thoughts also general questions were asked to boost the knowledge of the students.The assembly was concluded by the Seven Mantras given by the teacher for the healthy life.

Today our school students presented the assembly on National Mine Awareness Day. To raise public attention towards mine action activities, the land mines, it's threats to the safety of mankind and how to work towards its elimination. The aim was to spread the message of Protecting Lives, Building Peace. The students delivered the speech and different questions were asked related to the theme of International Mine Awareness day.
