Our Story

YSIPA-YUVHRAJ SINGH INSTITUTE OF PERFORMING ARTS

In its 15thth year running, the Institute with its ultramodern setup and personalized care provides the right platform to individuals to improvise upon their dancing skills, acting skills (theater) , Yoga asanas and music skills (both instrumental and vocal training). The Institute has not only helped many youngsters to attain a sense of rhythm, grace, coordination, confidence; but has also assisted them to shape their talents into career realities by taking dancing, acting and music as a full-time profession

DANCE

The institute has its well organized teaching structure where not just the dance steps but most importantly proper body vocabulary of the various Western Dance Forms like Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip-hop, Social Dancing, Bollywood, Modern Dancing, etc has been taught to the students so that they can excel in creating their own moves and steps. By understanding their body-vocabulary, a sense of confidence and grace outshines the student’s persona.

THEATER
So are the Theatre classes designed, keeping in mind the need for personality development, team building, stage presence, confidence, voice modulations, speech clarity, and acting skills. Theatre not only develops the character of the student but also grooms them in their perspective of life as a whole.

MUSIC

The Music classes focuses on Indian Classical Music, Western Music and Voice training which are structured in 2 categories: Vocals and Instruments. In instrumental classes the instruments like Guitar, Keyboard, Tabla, Violin, and Drums etc. are being taught to the students, along with proper curriculum and levels of training. In Vocals, the students receive training for singing by developing their voice culture and imbibing the knowledge of Indian classical and Western Music.

YOGA

In The Yoga classes, body evaluation is being taught to the students with the help of ancient science of Raja yoga and Hath Yoga so that the understanding of the Body comes from within. The knowledge of recognising the flow of energy in the body, which is being taught in the classes, helps student balance the body strength and recovers long health issues.
