On April 16, 2022, our journey to restore the historical Batadrava Than in Nagaon, Assam, commenced. This monumental project reached its zenith on September 24, 2023, as it was graciously inaugurated in the esteemed presence of Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam, Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma. Our unwavering commitment to preserving Borduwa's heritage and propelling our region forward shines brightly.

In essence, the opening ceremony of Batadrava Phase 1 is a momentous occasion that reflects our commitment to preserving and promoting the rich heritage and teachings of Sri Srimanta Sankardev. It is a fitting tribute to his legacy on this special day, led by the Honorable Chief Minister.

Borduwa Satra Which is the birthplace of the great artist, literateur, dramatist and founder of Vaisnavism in Assam, a Shrine and a center of Vaisnava art and culture. It is about 140 kms. from guwahati abd 18 km North - West from Nagaon town. There are two sattras : Narowa Sattra and Salaguri Sattra. A mini Museum is located in Narowa Sattra and the birth death anniversaries of the Vaishana saints are observed there with great grandeur. Bordowa Satra is one of the best known as Satras founded by great Sankardeva.
