Strengthening Education Partnerships: Discussing Academic Progress and Policy Implementation at Parent-Teacher Meeting
Parents and teachers came together today at Faculty Higher Secondary School, North Guwahati, for a pivotal Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), delving into the academic journey of students in Classes IX and X. The gathering served as a platform to explore the academic progress, commendable achievements, and areas of potential growth of each child, all while aligning with the contours of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 and the introduction of the National Credit Framework (NCrF).

Mr. Jugal Chandra Borah, the Principal of the institution, shed light on how NEP 2020 has been seamlessly woven into the fabric of teaching methodologies and curriculum design. Saraswati Puja, a manifestation of reverence for the Goddess of Knowledge, Maa Saraswati, symbolizing wisdom, education, creativity, and music, was observed with meticulous devotion. Honouring the Legacy of Mrs. Banti Bhuyan Madam 3rd Death Anniversary Tribute_
On the solemn occasion of the 3rd death anniversary of our beloved founder and trustee, Mrs. Banti Bhuyan Madam, the school community came together to pay heartfelt tributes.
The Director, OET, Madam Loya Sinha, who is also the daughter of the late founder and trustee, Madam Banti Bhuyan, initiated the homage ceremony with a heartfelt speech empasizing the significance of the moto of the school. Then she lighted the lamp—a symbol of knowledge and wisdom that Mrs. Bhuyan tirelessly imparted. With deep reverence, the Director Madam offered a shradhanjali, underscoring the profound impact her mother had on the institution.
Following suit, the principal and Heads of Sections paid homage, reflecting on the visionary leadership that laid the foundation for academic excellence time since 1981. Their gestures echoed the enduring legacy of Mrs. Banti Bhuyan Madam.

The new auditorium witnessed an array of spectacular performances, from the Anchors' opening remarks to a soul-stirring Chorus by Class IX students. The Principal's inspiring message, a mesmerizing solo song, and Director Madam's best wishes added a touch of elegance.
The cultural extravaganza continued with a dynamic group dance, heartfelt messages from teachers, and an enchanting Instrumental Trio. The anchors orchestrated a mind-blowing game, keeping the energy high. The Class X students stole the spotlight during the open mic session, showcasing their talents with a nostalgic speech, an additional group dance and a DJ performance, creating a truly momentous cultural event.
As the day unfolded, hot and yummy lunch packets were served, fostering togetherness among students. With captured moments frozen in time through snapshots, the Class X (Batch of 2023-24) signed the day off filled with blessings and some unique memories to cherish.
